Emob78: Darkest Dungeon just got released today on Steam. Hoping to see it here on GOG, but not holding my breath.
avatar
cyboff: it's on Steam only for early access period, then it should be released DRM-free (promised in Kickstarter campaign...)
and btw. it's one of my most awaited games of 2015 (together with already confirmed Darkwood), so GOG please do everything to get it here on time! :D
Been watching some LPs of it. Yeah, looks awesome. Tough as nails dungeon crawler RPG with team mechanics. When it's done right it's one of the best genres, IMO. Fingers crossed that GOG can get it. It sure looks like it would a popular title around here.
Telepath tactics is supposed to release the 16 march, and Craig Stern, the dev, pretty much confirmed that the negociations are going well with GOG :
"Not to worry, guys--I'm in contact with GOG. We're hashing it out right now."

If you want to know more about the game, here is the KS page :

It's a fire emblem, tactics type of game :)

It doesn't look all that much like fire emblem. :l

MacArthur: snip
He only missed his "estimated delivery" by about a year. =P

That said, it's one of the very few upcoming indies I'm really excited about. Good to hear it'll be coming to GOG. :)
Just spoke to one the guys behind Decay and Decay: The Mare and they told me that the latter is coming to GOG this month! Hooray!
Great storyline, thick plot, absurdly deep, trust me :)

I saw an announcement on Shacknews about the PC Remastered Edition of the mobile game, Republique, and it mentioned that it was coming to GOG in addition to Steam and Humble. Only the first 3 episodes are finished so far, but the final 2 episodes are included when released. There will be a debut discount of 20%, and a "Deluxe" version that includes soundtracks, prototypes, and a making-of documentary. Launch week prices are $19.99 and $28.99 for standard and deluxe versions respectively. Releases February 26th.

Well ... that PC port took a while.
I hope they bothered to increase the graphical quality.

Article says it was rebuilt from the ground up using Unity 5... {shrug} I don't know enough to know if I should be impressed or not...

I think Unity 5 will make them able to support Linux. Not sure about much else.

I'm sure someone posted this already, but Project Scissors NightCry wants to use GoG, Steam and other digital distribution for a PC version. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/playism/project-scissors-nightcry

It looks very cool. I want this game because I am a fan of horror, but I think many other PC game players would like it. I'd love to see a Mac version too.

I doubt Nightcry will reach the funding goal the way it's going right now.
Perhaps, but it is better to gain attention for it as long as the Kickstarter is happening. The team can try again later and so can fans and supporters.

It took two or three Kickstarter campaigns for Delaware St. John 4: Asylum of the Lost to gain funding. The important thing is to try. So, please help spread the word. The team of Project Scissors is pursing their goal, that is the important thing.
