Seriously tburger xp is such and old system that you can't expect support for it anymore. It was great for its time but you have to move on slowly. You can always try wine to get the game running on linux though.

I still have Double Dragon 3 : The Rosetta Stone on the Amstrad CPC464, it is a double pack with Rodland and also has the Spectrum versions with it.

Can't wait for this true classic release.

I played the original arcade version of the first Double Dragon and the NES versions of Double Dragon 1-3 so I can't wait either :D

The 8 bit versions were a bit hit and miss I must admit, there are 2 versions on C64, one from Melbourne House and Ocean also converted it, neither are that good in all honesty.

Amiga version of Double Dragon 2 is excellent. The Amstrad Version of DD3 is very playable musty admit albeit monochrome colors, all blue backgrounds and funny colored characters. I should fire up the Spectrum version as it says on the tape 128k only so should be pretty good.

You guys need to get more arcade classics like this, no brainer type release, it is what retro gaming and your original mantra was all about :)

If we're talking 8-bit, the NES versions of Double Dragon I and II were quite good although the first one did NOT look at all like the arcade version. It still managed to have its own charm, though :)

Double Dragon III was also awesome and I like how it made use of the other player. You could jump kick at the other player and he would be able to throw you at the enemy :D

As for more arcade classics, well, they need to either be made or re-made before we can get 'em :)

There is a Silmarils pack available over at GMG :

http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/en/pc/games/rpgs/silmarils-collection/

There is also the Irem Collection :

http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/en/pc/games/indie/irem-arcade-hits/

Both of those use the horrible GMG Client to download hence why I haven't bought them, you guys get them here though and it would be instant buy.

Don't forget there is also the 5 Sega Megadrive / Genesis pack, Steam only (I did buy them - Guilty as charged with loving Retro gaming) but would be welcome additions to the catalog here.

Links aren't working so head to :

http://www.greenmangaming.com/

Search for Irem and Silmarils in their search box to pull them up

Matruchus: Very funny but seriously as it seems now that a big amount of gog users are also steam users nowadays it needed to be implemented.

mistermumbles: I don't particularly see the problem, depending on how people categorize their purchases.

I only buy/rent/whatever from Steam that is either big budget AAA or which seems not likely to come to GOG (or not likely to be de-DRM-ed) anytime soon. It's a very very rare thing for me to get an indie/kickstarter game on Steam. So I've never had to kick myself for buying something there before it got released here. ;)
Your not the only one. believe me :)

Iain: snip
Alternatively, you can find them DRM-Free from DotEmu itself.
IREM Arcade Hits
Silmarils Collection

DotEmu also has the MegaDrive Collections.

I thought they were Dotemu

Knew they were DRM free but the GMG Capsule is horrendous for downloading and installing games and would prefer releases like that landing here on GOG

There is no capsule/client on DotEmu. You can just downoad them directly from there.
So excited for the Double Dragon Trilogy coming to GOG. I really enjoyed them back on my NES and can't wait to play them again!
Blackguards 2 is now officially confirmed for 20 January.
