Desmight: The store page is still there.

I guess they're waiting to publish it without fair price at the end of the month, or maybe they're just finishing to add Galaxy features
I guess the reason is bad timing.

The Humble store announced today what's in the Humble Monthly bundle for april:

Warcraft 2 confirmed? That's awesome - I don't know how well the first will hold up (some of the unit selection and task assignment clicks are REALLY cumbersome and archaic) but I bet 2 will be just as awesome as when it was released.

I always sort of sucked at RTS, but always loved playing Blizzard's.

Short answer: yes.

You are correct, Warcraft 1 has no expansions while Warcraft 2 only has Beyond the Dark Portal.
I assume the version we will see here will be Warcraft 2: Battle.net edition which is pretty much the complete game with better multiplayer support.

A little offtopic, but I would like to hope that such an event will give an additional argument to GOG for negotiations with other publishers (at least for old titles). Something like: "Even Blizzard, who always releases their games only in their own shop, released their classic game(-s) DRM-Free on GOG. Why don't you try the same thing?"
