IronArcturus: Heavy Bullets had a DRM-free version on the Humble Store, but it hasn't been updated in forever.

Grargar: What is the last version there?
I think it was v1.05 if I remember correctly.

It's the same version as on Steam. The game hasn't received an update ever since October 2014, despite numerous reports that it's suffering from and [url=http://steamcommunity.com/app/297120/discussions/0/613936673446584432/]lag spikes.

It also has a problem with mouse-capture in windowed mode. It really is a shame because it was an interesting roguelite game. I wonder why the dev abandoned it?

vicklemos: My guess is that we're one step away of putting our buttersmooth hands on one of the greatest games from the past 5 years. Anno 2070 is supreme.
I'm not so sure about that one. If so they'd have to mess around with a few things beforehand.
Anno 2070 was playable offline, however you needed to be connected to be able to improve and use your persistent flagship upgrades and such.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep they're right.
The thing is that I got this game preinstalled and played the heck of it, so I really didn't care that much about the drm back then. My second Anno experience and the best one at the time.
But a drm free "clean of uPlay" version of it would be so kickass... one can only dream, right? ;P
The Westport Independent will be coming to GOG January 21:

I know ;)
Met a dutch guy once and told him I really liked "Spetters" and stuff, the first movie by Paul (that's how I've said) "Ver-ho-e-ven". He said in a loud tone "NO! THAT'S WRONG!" and told me it was "VEROOVHEN" ;p

I was stunned.
My life completely change since, then ;D

Checked the Steam forum, and they said they have no plans for GOG at this time. Steam and xbox are their primary, and only.

Honestly, I'm starting not to get annoyed or bothered by indie devs who refuse to bring their games to GOG or who choose Steam as their target platform.
It seems to me that, most of the times, these developpers don't really have great care or empathy towards their customers.

When the indie scene first appeared it seemed that indie devs were the "Robin Hoods" fighting against the evil tiranny of AAA publishers.
Now that more time has passed it's been clear that some of these devs/publishers are just as arrogant or petty as EA, Ubisoft or Bethesda.
