I never played a game like this, are there any others as good?

Thanks in advance :)
It reminds me of an old CCG called Arcadia: The Wyld Hunt. Go hunt that down and see if it tickles your fancy?
Yes, there are games as good or better as Hand of Fate.

I don't really know of any even remotely similar games tho, it's quite unique in how it combines genres.

That doesn't seem to be a videogame? Seems like an actual table top card game or am I looking at the wrong thing?

I really want to get my "hands" on this game as it does look like a ton of fun ;)

The upcoming Guild Of Dungeoneering looks a bit similar mechanically speaking. However the art style (while really pretty in its own right) is very different. Your heroes are handled indirectly and it looks like the battles are turnbased card play affairs rather than action oriented. So core "idea" similar, execution in a different style but still looks like it could scratch that itch.

Yes?

Deck building and moving around the board (but with TWO players in Arcadia) is the interesting half of hand of fate. Unless you really like Arkham style combat (which is just gussied up FREE and quite frankly really only quick time events), then I don't know maybe play more batman?

Oh wow! I never played this game, but I did buy a few of the cards just because the artwork was gorgeous. Loved the idea of "building" out an RPG like character with various cards representing skills, abilities, allies etc.

And those pop up PC charactes? Amazing! Loved 'em!

I like the way you run through the hand deals and then get transported to the situation, that's the part that appeals to me, I cant get at Batman, my son is hogging it on the PS4 :)

Have a look at Victor Vran, its like Diablo but you use a deck of "Destiny Cards" as your swappable skill trees. Its VERY good.

Neat thanks for putting this out I hadn't heard of it. I recognized the name of the devs (Haemimont Games) but couldn't remember from where - they did Tropico! Maybe it shows up here to boot!

Yeah I never really paid much attention to it until I got it in the summer sale, it will be completed in july but it plays just fine at this stage and there will be no character wipe at release, just a reset of skills back to zero and you get to respend all your XP again, its like a free character respect. But the game is just fun on a stick.
I think that "Hand of Fate" could be better, however, it is one addictive game that I can play in spurts.

Apropos of nothing other than an update on Victor Vran, there will be Motorhead DLC...major shutupandtakemymoney response! :)
The free browser game Card Hunter is excellent in my opinion. It’s got some similar traits to Hand of Fate, being a board game and utilizing cards, while providing optional paths of progression. I liked it so much that I burnt out on it playing for 2 weeks non-stop.
