According to the Kalypso Media twitter account there will be no versions of the Commandos 2 HD remaster sporting swastikas and other related symbols, even though such a version would be possible with the recent relaxation of regulations in regards to displaying Third Reich imagery in games and selling them in Germany.

Something to keep in mind in regards to the potential delisting of the original, uncensored version here on GoG.

Well, time to buy those games.

About time, in case you hadn't already got them.
The future of Double Fine's publishing division is in doubt

Is that the same version as https://store.steampowered.com/sub/4156/? Thanks.
All that suggests at this point is that they won't publish anything in the future via DFP, which is somewhat sad but logical given what's happened internally with them and Microsoft.

But it also suggests that they might close up shop for good in the future, which in return could result in the (temporary) delisting of affected titles.
Knights and Bikes were good damn fine. Anything else with same quality artstyle (not psychonauts) to buy ASAP?

Costume Quest is very similar, and better imo

I mean, it all but basically says that DFP is closed as far as being its own publisher is concerned. Unless Microsoft makes some big announcement about crushing Double Fine into oblivion, then the worry about any titles under the DFP publishing arm being delisted seems needless. At best, we may see the recorded publisher shift to Microsoft for continued digital distribution.
All Frogwares games are in danger of being removed from all storefronts.

So this includes pretty much all the Sherlock Holmes games and Magrunner.
I hope GOG does goodbye sales for these.
Those games are NOT PUBLISHED BY FOCUS here on GOG.

At least they are not listed with Focus Home as their publisher.

Interesting, and the tweet doesn't mention GOG at all, either. Though they may have just forgotten, that happens a lot with GOG. Does anyone want to talk to them?

I'd say "buy soon" just in case, of course.

GOG is aware of the situation between Frogwares and Focus Home but we shouldn't be affected.
