Steam does not "remove" games for fun and we can be sure that it will hit gog soon enough. Now that there is a thread & talk about it probably sooner than later (remember Dying Light? Released for all, massive talking about how that gog is the only selling in Germany -> BAM game gone). I strongly suggest if you had any bare interest in getting one of the listed games then get it.

Seems germany can make their own laws, when others try to [UK] they cry. we're not in line with the rest of the european union

The book? I can see references to at least three books in wolfsrain post ;)
- Nineteen Eighty-Four
- 451 degree Fahrenheit
- Brave New World
And maybe (even though it's far-fetched) We. Seriously, I can wholeheartedly recommend reading all of them! You can also add Kallocain and you'll get the ultimate dystopian classics!

As for the OP: it's a terrible shame, I feel sorry for you gals and guys!

Being able to decide what you want to see exemplifies freedom; having someone else decide what you can see (without your input) is the opposite of freedom. Little bit of a difference.

Wut? Doesn't pretty much any country have its own laws, within the EU or otherwise... ? And keep in mind, these aren't exactly new laws, as several other contributors to this thread have already clarified. Not entirely sure what your point is, or how it is related to the topic at hand.

These two (especially Limes Inferior) are newer than those mentioned above. Sure, they are great books too but you have to draw a line somewhere ;)
