[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

At the time of writing, open giveaway threads are:
- Massive Giveaways Blog
- Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic. (this one)
- Updated Itch.io giveaways

Be nice to each other *flies away*

mm3n: Okay, if these codes you mentioned were from 2011, I'm back at having no idea where that code came from and why it worked now for some people.
As I said earlier - this "MM" system is very old and it has no more official support so someone could have found out one working code by pure coincidence.

BeatriceElysia: Info I got from support:

Hello,
There is no promo.
Code is not intended for use.
Please close the page with the code and you should be able to browse website again.
This is actually corrsponding to one of the posts on reddit:

"Asked gog support for an ETA on when the promotion will be back online and their response was that they don't acknowledge this "promotion" at all. This is getting very weird."

I wonder were this promo code was even announced. Seems to be one of the usual leaks/bugs on GOG. What do you guys think? More information about this?

Edit: Just saw that Thiev already confirmed that there is no such promo. So everybody relax again :)

So, someone(s) hacked them?
I think the GOG code E3 gives you The Witcher 2. I can't verify because I already own it. https://www.gog.com/redeem/E3

That's a shame. I wonder what's going on around here today.

Both E3 and E32018 seem to give TW2. I already own it, so I can't redeem it, but it shows it activates this game for people who don't have it.

I already have the game, but I would like to know if there is a way to convert this code into a giftcode to be able to donate it to Zeogold's giveaway in the future :)
Truth be told, it would have been rather too good to be true. Still, if some did manage to redeem something from those first 67 pages, means the code was in the database, activated, and also made so it won't be used up. Maybe they intended to make some use of it, changed their minds, but forgot to clean up?

Lexor: Here is my explanation "what's going on" with this "MM" code. Such codes (they all start with "MM") were given out as rewards in the old contests organized by GOG on GOG forum (Around 2014 year I think? Maybe even earlier). These codes allowed to select one game below $9.99 and they were "stuck" after 67 page.

This current code is probably just pure coincidence created by some hole in the old system.
Yep, mine's from back then too. Doesn't start with MM though, and expires in 2025. Maybe should get around to using it someday... But maybe they'll make it actually allow me to see what's past page 67 too. Or search.

Do you still have it unused? If yes, try to exchange it with the help of GOG support.
Fake news all around regarding the redeem codes.
