Where the Cat and Wolf Play.

They say it's about quality, not quantity. Today, CD Projekt RED gives us one of the biggest pieces of DLC yet.
It's a new quest titled Where The Cat and Wolf Play - in which you'll explore a forgotten village and discover its terrifying secret. Find out who or what slaughtered its inhabitants and use all your witcher skills to confront this mysterious force.

The Cat and the Wolf have clashed once before. Any guesses where this might be going?

INSTALLING THE FREE CONTENT:

Here is how you can grab and install your new DLC in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Add the 16 FREE DLC Program to your account from its product page. It's like buying a game, but free.

A) If you're using GOG Galaxy:

--Select The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from the sidebar to open its game page.
--Click on the drop-down labeled "More", (located next to the PLAY button) and choose "Configure".
--The Configure page will feature all available DLCs listed towards the bottom.
--Select each DLC that you want to install, and GOG Galaxy will do the rest. If you want to remove the DLC from your game, simply uncheck the selection box.

B) If you're using the website:

You can download installers for each DLC pack manually. Simply head to the Library section of My Account, locate The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and download the files you want. Afterwards, run each one as if you were installing a game or patch.

I had such a problem after killing a "boss" in the quest "Following the Thread". If that's your current quest and status (return to Lambert at the Nowhere Inn) then try this: Make another quest active. With this "workaround" I was able to travel to Novigrad and finish the quest.
Hmm lets see if I get this right.

This free-DLC is called Where the Cat and Wolf Play

We already see the Cat Medallion from the Cat school from the promo picture.
Cat and Wolf is a hint regarding their respective Witcher Schools
Geralt is known as the White Wolf

Now connect the dots and see what this could be all about...

Hmm nope, getting nothing here!

:D

(Thanks GOG, still need replay The Witcher 3 on the highest difficulty setting but I'm waiting until all DLCs are released)

blotunga: Writing in english in an english forum would help immensely others to understand your problem. Otherwise you can try here: https://www.gog.com/forum/general_ru#1435742214
He's signed up on GOG today and is asking about delays in DLC upload in the Russian Playstation Store. One guess as to what his problem is.
Something here is fishy...

ThePunishedSnake: Ten minutes long but it was funny.

I can confirm it's not huge and only ten minutes long.

Is it equivalent to the Fool's Gold quest then which was quite short? Wonder why CDPR is touting it as a substantially large quest then. I don't mind one DLC for this week because its free content but they should just be upfront about its length.

More or less, a bit shorter I think.
I don't know why some people are saying this DLC is bigger than others, it's not, I can assure you.

Probably because CDPR is proclaiming its the biggest piece of DLC yet or maybe they just mean this took them more time to make regardless of how much actual gameplay there is. ;)

I kinda hoped it was gonna be Berhen from the books, but great quest anyway. Now I'm waiting for Iorweth to finally appear.

CharlesGrey: "Only" one DLC today? Not a complaint, just find it surprising, since you guys always released them in pairs until now.

How huge? Someone above has mentioned beating it in 10 minutes. Is this actually longer?

EDIT: ooops, at least triple ninjad' to that question. Never mind, carry on. Nothing to see here.

Why Ciri's new skin has been pulled from Live and it's not on PC yet?

Well, some people do 10 minute speedruns of entire games, so this may at least in part be a matter of personal play-style and pace. We probably won't know for sure just how big this particular quest/DLC is until we try it ourselves.

Nope, I did it on Death March, there's really nothing that can increase the DLC's lenght, honestly. You do an investigation, some dialogues, kills some stuff, that's it.
