7 month ago I bought game for my nephew but he never redeemed the code. I wanted to give pleasure to someone so I decided to give away the code to a (un)lucky user, here on GOG.

In case several are interested, write a short note, story, why you 'desparately' need (deserve?) this game. Give me a smile.
The funniest comment wins. Jury is my family. I will wait until Sunday 1 pm swiss time (UTC+01.00).

If you need a proof that I am trustworthy, here is a screenshot of the game's entry in my orders history:

I must steal the quest given by the defender, so I will sell it for the ridiculous price of handing the quest over to a random NPC!

There are three possibilities:

- Everyone already ones this game.
This can't be correct though, according to MaGogs public wishlish option...

- This seems to be a very bad game.
I can not confirm this. It is a good strategy game imho. BTW: If the winner manages to get gold stars on the final 3 levels of NewGame+ I'd love to get a pm I m still working to make it...

- The reputation of the OP is too low.
True. But this is not my first giveaway on this board.

- The forth possibility is that you are blocking all other interested person from entering this thread. ;'-(

This was a humorous attempt to 'BoneyM' this thread.

Another possibility is that none is interesting in making a humorous joke about why they desperately need a tower defense game. Why waste the effort when we could sit at a tower doing nothing and claim we defended it?

I loved this game.
Got 3 gold stars in all. The major tip I can give you is don't be afraid to reassign your skills and invest in passive traits.

See this thread:

Not it, just wanted to say this is one of the best games on GOG.

Play it as intended - in "Hero" mode with zero generic recruits for the best balance.

But no, I'm stuck at 181 stars. I just don't have the skillz to get those last handful of stars! [EDIT] That's in Hero mode. I don't even have a save with generic recruits. Maybe it's possible to do it only with those guys?

I'll take a stab at winning.

If I had Defender's Quest, I would install it on my computer.
If I installed it on my computer, I would run it.
If I ran it, I would defend against waves of assailants.
If I defended against waves of assailants, I would be slaughtering a great many half-alive creatures.
If I slaughtered a great many half-alive creatures, I would be guilty of murder.
If I were guilty of murder, I would be thrown in jail.
If I were thrown in jail, I would be able to contact my fence.
If I were able to contact my fence, then I could get the key to the bathroom.
If I could get the key to the bathroom, I wouldn't have to deal with the sharks.

So please, help me get to the bathroom without dealing with the sharks.
I desperately need Defender's Quest. Why? Because I feel like it.

181 stars? You are in fact skillfull...
As far as I know noone managed to get all stars in hero mode.
My personal challenge in DQ1 is not selling any characters and carrying the Book of Blood. I am masochistic, I know.

I am looking forward to the release of DQ 2. Once in a while I have a look at the developer's blog. I am thinking about pre-ordering it, but can't decide which version to grap...
Not in, but thanks for the giveaway! +1
Defender's Quest is indeed a nice game.
Not in, but I am amused that the other night I was chatting to the dev of Defenders Quest about the (recent) translations and jokingly suggested a Yorkshire translation - and he actually seemed up for it. What followed was even better with several indie devs and a magazine then calling for it - I don't think any of us were actually serious... but who knows?! - perhaps in a few months you might hear the buttered tones of some dalesman bellow "FOOLS DOUGH ROLL! - YA NUMPTY!" in Skyrim if such a movement were to take off!

Thanks for the GA and avoid the numpties! :)
