Wasn't thinking, should've insulted it from the get-go, would've had HSL on my tail the entire time.

Really though, is it on Netfilx or Hulu or somethin'? If it ain't on one of those, it don't exist.

Heavens be praised it is streamable on NF, yes. That's why I watch it like every 2-3 months.

Mind you, I intend to only watch a little bit and then I just can't stop.

so in this movie these guys are studying law at harvard and it's crunch time for final exam and 2 dudes rent a hotel room to buckle down for studying, going over laws and potential hypothetical case-studies that they could have to figure out in their exams associated with the laws and the one guy is giving an example to another guy:

"okay so suppose I'm beating you with my fist unlawfully, you've angered me, and I knock you down on the floor, and you get impaled by a spike sticking up out of the floor (die presumably), under the Felony Murder Rule I'm not guilty because battery isn't an ordinary felony"

other guy:

"okay, give me exceptions, what are the exceptions? uhhh, if your hand is a deadly weapon, karate?"

anyway, yep, that's just, really amusing to me...

meanwhile the maids are all a whisper thinking they're up to something no good because they've been locked in their room for 2 days and now they hear talk of murder (it's not like THAT or anything, it's very low-key drama)

obviously it's not a game for everyone and obviously familiarity with the mechanics and anglings are a huge benefit

I actually have WAYYYY less experience with it that zeo :þ I've probably played a total of 10 rounds over a matter of 3 parties ever. A bunch of those rounds I 'modded' and taught noob players (as I learned myself even.)

I'm not nearly as fond of 1-Night as I am regular mafia. Whenever I get together with that group in meat-world and they want to play 1-Night over standard I kind of groan. It's not deep and manipulative enough.

Still hella fun though!

and it was LOTS of fun playing with all of you!! I'm glad I signed up!

trent, tough spot pulling wolf on your first go, absolutely (but it's actually easier than minion or tanner!)
zeo, you did a great job trying to help and set everything, really, you were the ideal minion, I think, like I said, just a little more familiarity with text-deception/manipulation and you would have been ruling it I'm sure

blotunga, same thing, and with no experience otherwise with mafia (right?), it's a tough pull to know how to position yourself - I hope you play more with us!!!!

HSL, man, tortuous!!!! I guess you had to make sure bler was telling the truth about who he robbed and that I was telling the truth with my claim, and it worked out, but waiting too long could have backfired hard-core by not giving town enough time to figure out the puzzle - as it was, you played it right and we won, so, EXCELLENT job!

bler, as much as you wish to shed your true identity, apparently it will always come back to you? or somesuch not-at-all-serious profundity in your direction...glad you played, as always! you make things more fun, blerface

adalia and gogtrial - you kicked the game's butt, imo - I don't think I was needed, you guys had it figured

Good job town :)

That was quite fun, though I agree it's a bit tough on scum to win, and probably could do with having a shorter time limit.
