I hate to be that guy to speculate but it is possible Pookina wasn't killed by mafia.
He seems to me like one of the least likely choices for mafia NK.

What was your stance on Pookina at the end of D1?

Pookina was one of my prime suspects (along with Catte), and was who I was voting for.

Ah yes the classic "Woah, I didn't expect them to die!" opening. Traditional wisdom says that this a very mafia sort of thing to say, but as someone who has said that sort of thing multiple times as town and been suspected for it I'm prepared to give you a pass. :P
Or are you speaking from a position of knowledge on who the mafia's actual target was? :O

Well, since others have said it, Pookina does seem like a strange choice. He'd garnered mild suspicion from me by the end of the day and I think some others felt that way too.

Then in #281 you said you are sticking with your RVS vote but it appears the vote wasn't even present. Why would you even stick with RVS for the whole Day?

My thoughts on the NK:

Assuming Mafia did the kill:
Why wasn't BJG killed? The obvious answer is Mafia expected every protective/watching PR and their mothers to be on them. Why Pookina? Looking at his D1 record, he seems to have made absolutely no reads whatsover. So it's a safe no-info kill. As for the people reading Pookina, Joe Town-read him, I slightly Town read him, Vitek found him a bit suspicious an nmillar found him suspicious (I'm going off memory here, correct me if I missed anything or got anything wrong).
Vitek and nmillar's read are pretty much NAIish. Both are smart enough to NK a player they "suspect" as scum for the WIFOM, and if they're Town, then anyone else could kill a player that these two scum-read to put suspicion on them.
But Pooka's flip makes me Town-read Joe a bit more. He Town-read Pooka very early when he had no reason to since Pooka's "whom would you target?" actions could be interpreted as role fishing.
Or was that Joe's plan: Town-read someone very early then NK them N1? Would Joe do that?

Assuming non-Mafia killed them:
I find it extremely unlikely we got a second Vig. Not even in a role-madness game. A third-party killer is possible (7+1+2 is a common setup for 10 players), but giving Town a Day-Vig in a game where both Mafia and third-party can kill already seems unlikely. Not impossible though.

You are correct, but my unvote doesn't seem to have ever counted (even forgot about it myself), but as per the final vote count, my vote was still in Pookina. Why would I not stick with my RVS vote, even if it didn't actually count as per the above? I quite clearly stated that Pookina and Catte were my prime suspects, so was perfectly happy with my (now obviously invalid) vote on one of them.

I don't think I would be the defensive one with you backing away from it like this.

Pointing something person did as usual mafia thing and suggesting they have inside knowledge is not exactly what I would call friendly banter.
