A Tweety Good-Day, peeps. Now with a cup of coffee (also called a cup of Joe around here, but I understand Joe is a hot commodity everywhere apparently), I/we hope to be a bit more clear-headed. To answer concerns about us catching up - we were already following this game and up to current events when we subbed in. We are pretty much where everyone except DaBomb scum are - no firm reads just trying to 'peck' out possibilities and test them to hopefully reveal the worms.

I think Lola may have fainted from Bugs sudden antics. Nobody noticed the Tweety bird watching from the corner cage, at least I think that's where we came in. ;) As I said, we were already following the game but not in the observation thread so were able to step in and be current. I don't know about saving the game - we are still noobs, but at least we have read some games so are going to give it a good try. Thanks also for sharing more of your thoughts.

Now, let's address a few things and ask some questions ...

Our best benefit to town is that we are at least confirmed not Mafia. I hadn't noticed a neutral would also kill Lift (of course, the wife did) and town is wise to keep that in mind. It is also to scum's benefit to make town doubt the confirmed non-mafia player. So while it could be seen as an insidious suggestion, and we've heard nmillar is an experienced player who could slip it in, it makes it no less true that it is possible Tweety is neutral. I will state now that Tweety is town, but townies, please evaluate for yourself - if we are asking questions and attempting to link together info to track down scum we are helping town and scum may wish to push doubt about us. If we instead sow confusion and do not take viewpoints and learning into consideration, we are not helping and you are right to question us.

An observation: While nmillar brought up that nobody is 100% confirmed, Gym is the one who then mentions we could be neutral. He is right - but it could also link nmillar, who is voting a player who is voting Gym, to Gym. nmillar then asks everyone to stop speculating on us. This can be wisdom in not getting side-tracked from scum hunting, but is it a possible buddying attempt to inexperienced players? It very much could be honestly meant, but it is also a psychological move used in manipulation tactics - to slip in doubt then turn away and let it fester to eat away at others. To more experienced players - thoughts or insights?


@Gym - Thank you for the welcome. :) Yes we have some idea of your playstyle and will keep it and the infamous HP game in mind. However, if you were concerned about town getting hurt by your PGO role, why did you bait any town cop/investigator to investigate you when discussing your breadcrumbing pre-reveal with ZFR? (Post 104, 114, 119) Why ask about any downside in post 129 if you already knew the downside of town losing an investigation PR if they did?

@ZFR, @Joe, @Vitek or anyone else who has hosted a game - considering game balance, would a PGO be considered a viable balancing role (possible detriment to town as well as mafia) for only 2 mafia? We can see it fitting into the theme of Looney Tunes, but we are trying to evaluate the probability based on game balance as well.

@ZFR - you mentioned day chat and several games past your HP game. Are you assuming possible day chat because it has been in several games now, or do you suspect signs of it?

It's difficult to talk about balance in a role-madness setup. And PGO is very swingy. I'd consider PGO more detrimental here, since there is a bigger chance of Town targetting him (in a game where Town has only passive roles, PGO is a huge asset).

I haven't seen signs that would point one way or another.

Not much new development so I have just a couple of things to mention.

I had the intention of voting Catte. There isn't a whole lot about him that concerns him but there is one particular posts which rubs me in a very wrong way:

If felt like very opportunistic and "tag-along"-y and once the waters were tested the vote on GH came in the very next post. Obviously now that it became pretty clear the lynch won't pick up anymore he backed off. I've come to expect SPF (Catte) to be somewhat dormant and less active initially but he seemed quite aggressive this time which feels odd to me. The one thing that is giving me pause is the couple of posts Catte made explaining to GH that BJ, being confirmed and all, still takes part in the game and deserves the proper courtesy. I liked that a lot. Would scum-Catte do it? Probably but it still felt Town-like...

I didn't like that nmillar felt it's necessary to bring up the possibility of GH being neutral. As someone pointed out - even if that is the case neutrals shouldn't be the main focus. That reminded may have come from paranoid Townie but also from scum who wants to make sure the seed of doubt is still being kept alive and nourished. I'm also not a very big fan of the voiced thoughts of whether or not the PGO is bulletproof.

Pooka was just as (if not more so) surprised by GH's reveal than Catte but as far as I'm aware Pooka has a lot less games on his record so it's very possible he isn't familiar with the role enough to consider anything of the like by GH's behavior.

Joe marked Vitek and myself as the scum team yet voted for Catte which makes zero sense to me but it's Joe so I assume it's just fooling around, looking pretty.

I'll sleep on it and vote in the morning but it's likely going to be either Catte or nmillar at this point.

Yes, but I'm just a Tweety bird, oh Obi-Wan of roosters, and like many masters you didn't state which instructions you intended - the wisdom of not getting side-tracked, the buddying of players or possibly the misdirection of doubt? Perhaps you could direct us to some of your old games so that this youngster bird-brain could learn your ancient arts from observation? Due diligence, O senior one. ;)

For accuracy - nmillar opened the door with nobody is 100% confirmed. It was GH who pointed out a possible neutral status and pushed a bit in two different posts before dropping it after nmillar requested it dropped. Both do have accurate observations which could be considered of benefit to town, but which could also work as insinuations for mafia.

Vitek is the one who pointed out neutrals should not be the main focus.


Thank you for your observations. We did not consider previously how that 'bulletproof' comment might be taken by a town investigative role. Thank you for bringing a new possible angle to mind.

As said before, I was hoping any such roles(and any other town roles) would do the opposite and NOT target me during N1 if I kept mentioning it so much. That way I could hopefully draw a NK and get rid of one scum during N1.

Sadly that wasn't to be, and I had to full claim earlier than I wanted to.

To everyone: At this point I don't know what to think....but since I don't want a nolynch I will say that I will likely vote whichever wagon will get us a lynch....as long as it's not ZFR or BjGamer(or me, of course).
