trentonlf: It’s often the case that people focus too much on setup or roles and lose sight of the actual gameplay.

GameRager: Serious idea: Why doesn't someone make a game with all vanilla scum and town and list scum/town numbers at the start? That and other things might make people focus more on posts and less on setup, possibly.
Games like that have been run. Cristi's #46 was the one I remember best for playing in. All-vanilla is kinda rare, but games with open or semi-open setups (so you generally know how many scum there are, but not which powers are in play) are quite common.

Also: Well played to Lift and RW, and "Boo!" on everyone for lynching Joe there at the end. I had massive flashbacks to that secret hitler game where no one wanted to believe Joe when he was in conflict with a fascist. Town-Joe is really not that hard to recognize!

Well, what are Joe's town tells and scum tells from your eyes?

But you make an interesting point...Lift was scum and Joe was Town/Liberal...again!

Eh, I thought dedo and joe were the scum and RW and Lift were town.....Joe seemed to be acting a bit odd(posting a lot, being silly, etc) which made me suspicious as all hell.

Exactly...for me it's per usual i.e. the GR "gold** standard".

**=Gold not actual gold, results may vary, not applicable in the state of delaware.

JoeSapphire: Oh no! Are you still ill? Get well soon!

Blotunga too, hope you're all better, or nearly recovered if not
I'm doing better, thanks

Now I realize that D2 I was trying to prove my townyness to RWarehall and Lift, the scum players. You got me good.

If it's any consolation: I was totally convinced that you were town! ;-)

That's amazing!
I'm kind of relieved that there are no lynches in secret Hitler. Otherwise I guess I would be a Day 1 policy lynch now! ;-)

I will try my best
I'm still waiting for dedo's reaction when he learns who the scumteam is.

Just tell him it was joe/pooka and town won by lynching joe and then pooka just like gave up or something so no need for another day.
Will he ever trust me again?
