HypersomniacLive: [emphasis added]

*raises eyebrow*

Now, that's interesting. More so since you've contributed very little to nothing so far, and subbed in for a slot that left a similar record behind. Almost sounds like you want it to remain this way. So, while you're in the Masons pool, you're in no way cleared, and I can't help but wonder what the motivation behind this is. Would you care to share?
I believe it to be in town's benefit to not fully clear up the game state, so that scum runs the risk of dying through their conversion attempts. A swift lynch of someone I read as scum, and who's generally been read as scum (so isn't likely to clear up that game state further) would be a way to help with that.
Urgh, sometimes I really hate the merging from gog, and resulting 10 minute delay, as I hit submit before adding something rather important, and during that delay I of course had a real life interruption.

flub: Eep! That sounds seriously scary. I'm really glad you're okay (you are okay now, right?) - please take it very easy, and listen to what your body needs!

HypersomniacLive: Why adaliabooks?
He smells funny. I had him pegged as scum on Day 1, but then changed my mind. Since Day 2 ended, and I pondered his rhetoric a bit, he is back to failing the smell test.

HypersomniacLive: And while I think I understand why me (post #1035)
Could you explain it to me, then? I am afraid I am still a bit lost where you are concerned. I am almost to the point where I'll only vote for you to avoid a no-lynch. I am not even sure I will vote for you then; I think we might be at the stage where a mislynch is worse than a no lynch (Yes, this is very out of character for me to say, and I'll have to think about that one a bit more).

If this seems to contradict me stating that you are my #2 choice for lynch earlier, well, that just shows how conflicted I am about it.

HypersomniacLive: why Bookwyrm627?
He seems like a Night 1 recruit to me. His demeanor changed a bit from Day 1 to Day 2. He was more tight-lipped and reserved on Day 1, and on Day 2 he was much more open with game roles and such, as well as being a bit more aggressive. He was almost lynched, which might be the reason, but it still feels off to me.

ZFR: At the risk of sounding scummy...
avatar
Krypsyn: Curious. The list I gave is almost exactly that of a confirmed Mason (mchack). I made up my mind separately, and am not following his list blindly, but why would you think that following the scum-list of a Mason is at all scummy?
At the risk of sounding scummy to Bookwyrm. He's said he reads me and you as scum, and here am I voting same as you.

ZFR: At the risk of sounding scummy to Bookwyrm.
Why would what he thinks worry you?

Krypsyn: Why would what he thinks worry you?
It doesn't. Just added that sentence as a figure of speech. Why do you think it worries me?

avatar
HypersomniacLive: @ZFR, why didn't you say anything Yesterday if you knew he was scum? Why not make a case on why he's scum, and have others take a closer look at him? We might have lynched scum Yesterday instead of a townie.
I had a hunch he was a scum because he was suddenly acting so helpful. No case to make, no wagon, and I felt more sure about Leonard being scum.

Offtopic: flubs, get well!

ZFR: Why do you think it worries me?
You said you didn't want to risk sounding like scum to him. Risk is generally something that worries, or, at the very least, concerns people. Therefore, the risk worried/concerned you enough to mention it.

I found it curious. I now also find it amusing.

Only if you're a pussy.

Well, not what I would have called you, but if that is what you are going with...

I would have just called you 'silly'. ;)

Hey, you're the one who said risk worries you.

Me, I knew voting like you is risky, but I did it nonetheless because I laugh in the face of danger.

Funny, I don't remember seeing myself type that. I make no stand on the veracity of your presumption, but I do challenge the veracity of your assertion.

You are such a silly person. So silly. :)

Only yesterday I unfastened my seatbelt before the aircraft came to a full and complete stop at the gate. I like living on the edge.

flubbucket: *******OFF TOPIC POST INCOMING*******

I'm sorry for being absent for several days. I passed out at work Wednesday morning and face planted on the cement. I went to employee health who politely informed me I needed a doctor's release to return to work. At the doctor's office I obligingly passed out again and then took an ambulance ride back to my hospital (ironic).

Now days later I now have a pacemaker installed in my chest. It seems I have Sick Sinus Syndrome.

THIS IS NOT A ROLE CLAIM OF CYBORG.

Happy to be back and since I'll be off work for the next three weeks solid, I'll be here and catching up.......later. Right now I need to sleep in a comfortable bed.
Damn flub! Hope you're feeling better now. Look after yourself.

Only got in at midnight last night, I've caught up but today probably isn't much better for me so may not be able to post much.

Having considered it I think I agree with gogtrial about the masons not claiming yet. While there is a definite risk that we lose their confirmed towniness and it harbours a scum I think the fact there are still vanillas and conversions left means it's safer to at least keep the scum teams guessing.

But I disagree about a quick lynch. While I'm willing to consider I've been wrong in my reads and take a good look at Hyper and Bookwyrm I think if we hit wrong today we might well be doomed.

@Hyper
As far as I remember dedo didn't receive much attention D1. In fact I'm sure someone said he only received 1 vote. So unless his partner had hidden even more successfully I just don't see him risking dying doing the conversion N1.
