Funny story....Wifey and I got married on the day of the Chernobyl disaster.

I was planning on sitting this one out, since it's pretty much the exact same people from last three games, but the flavor is way too tempting.

I think I should probably go ahead and say this now. This will be my first game of Mafia, so please post in full the rule set you will be using; I'd prefer to be victimized by rules I was told about rather than rules it was assumed I would know.

Don't worry. All rules will be stated in the opening post.

The three most important ones up front:
1. Post regularly. At least once every 48h. Once per day would be even better. If you are silent for more than two days, you will be prodded via PM. If that doesn't achieve anything, you will be replaced.
2. Don't edit your posts! This is important, because it is difficult to distinguish cheaty edits from accidental ones. So the common rule is, that all editing is considered cheating - and is reason enough to be mod-killed. Yes, that would be bad for your entire faction. So don't do it. No spell corrections, no quick changes. No edits at all!
3. Don't communicate with your fellow players about the game outside the channels specified in your PM. Of course I can't check this, but talking about the game outside the game can spoil the fun for everybody. So don't do it.

Something else that should be considered with GOG, is the fact that if you make a second post within 10 minutes of making the first post and nobody else has made a post within those 10 minutes, then the second post will be merged with the first one and will count as edited, so you should be careful.
