Thought of another feature I would like to see: The ability to mark multiple posts as solutions.
Consider the following situation:
1. User A asks a question.
2. User B posts a functional, but not ideal, solution.
3. User B's post is marked as a solution.
4. User C posts a better solution, or an improvement or fix to user B's solution.
5. Even though User C's post is a better solution, it can't be marked as a solution because B's post is already marked.
Also, the ability to mark one's own post as a solution. Sometimes, the topic creator finds a solution to their own problem, and then posts it, but can't mark it as a solution. (By the way, whenever this happens, I will often upvote the post containing the solution.)
Note that any possibility for rep abuses due to these new features would be negated by the removal of the rep system.
