Mods are an essential part of video games preservation, allowing you to relive your favorite stories in countless possible ways. Mods management, however – is not for everyone. Digging into game files, installing requirements, restarting the game thousands of times, making it crash every time… But no more. With GOG One-click Mods, newly introduced seamless mod integration on GOG, you can freely browse, install, and play, faster and easier than ever!

GOG One-click Mods is a curated selection of premium mods, available on GOG and directly packed with the game for the smoothest installation – and we couldn’t be happier to launch it during today’s PC Gaming Show.

From bug fixes, restored cut scenes, quests and characters, to completely freshly-made new content – we teamed-up with these community-driven projects creators to offer you this list of handpicked Mods. Combining our strengths, these are now accessible right away, already installed within the base game for the smoothest experience!

You can now enjoy:
Horn of the Abyss for Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete
Horn of the Abyss is an expansion for Heroes of Might and Magic III that adds new factions, campaigns, creatures, artifacts, and numerous quality-of-life improvements, such as a working multiplayer lobby system.

Phobos mod for DOOM 3
The Phobos Mod for DOOM is a prequel to the original game, delivering a narrative-driven, classic-style FPS experience with modern enhancements, set during the UAC's initial experiments on Mars' moon Phobos, adding many new gameplay hours.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines Unofficial Patch for Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™
The Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines Unofficial Patch does not only fixes numerous bugs left unresolved by the original developers but also restores and enhances cut content such as quests, levels, characters, and dialogue.

Fallout: London One-Click experience for Fallout 4
You already had a chance to experience how great Fallout: London is – an alternate standalone storyline set in the United Kingdom, during the apocalypse events from Fallout 4. Now though, you can boot it with just one click – no launchers, no extra steps, just pure fun.

And our surprise announcement:
Skyblivion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, is coming soon to GOG in 2025!

Please note that all mods are fan-created content and are not part of original games as released by the developer or publisher. While we do our best to ensure a high standard of quality and compatibility, the publisher of the base game is not involved in the creation of this mod and assumes no responsibility for any issues that may arise from its use.

Enjoy, happy modding – and let’s make these magical worlds live forever!

We see quite a few mods that you guys would like to see being a part of One-click Mods, awesome :)

Adding them to the Dreamlist is the best way to let us know what to prioritize, so go do just that!

GOG Mods are nice and all, but they have historically been treated as DLCs by Galaxy.

As such you MUST implement the ability to untick the DLCs / Mods we don't want BEFORE we install a game via Galaxy.

Currently we are forced to install All DLCs and only then are we allowed to untick / uninstall them. That is a horrible user experience.

------------------------------

Nevermind these appear to be stand-alone, unlike mods such as the Deus Ex Revision Mod.

Please either make Deus Ex Revision Mod stand-alone too or implement DLC selection before / during installation in Galaxy.

And I assume this is within GOG following the terms and conditions of the licences of the mods within, with the permission of the authors, unlike the last three times?

Additional concern: Many games are moddable in a modular fashion; would it really be so wise as to make these as whole games instead of al la carte? I've already got the game installed, why would I want to install it again for a mod that I might combine with others?

Or Quake Wads, say those. Just a folder you drop alongside the game and presto. No need to have multiple copies of the game.

Or maybe I wanted to use a source port?

Phobos can't detect Doom 3 from Amazon Prime while trying to claim it.

EDIT: Works now.

Skyblivion looks leagues better than the new remaster, i can hardly wait!

Glad to see that it'll also be available on GoG!

ps. Fix Skyrim memory leak and/or provide older versions. Hope Skyblivion won't have the same issue.

Already installed/running on Lutris.

Looking forward to this, I hope it gets its own tab so it's easy to find in the future.

Stardew Valley, Skyrim, FO3 are titles I'd love to have this thing for. Simcity 3000 and other older era games that need mods also, some have open projects like for Caesar III others don't. With Nexus getting worse and worse and a lot of these older games really needing something on newer systems, it's just what I didn't even know I needed.

Why is Nehrim not considered a mod, while Enderal is?

I'm wondering the same. It's the same "publisher", so maybe they overlooked it.

Maybe the same reason why Fallout: London also isn't a mod, but Fallout: London is...

I thought that was because the former does not require owning Fallout 4 in order to claim, whereas the latter does.

"The Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines Unofficial PLUS Patch does not only fixes numerous bugs left unresolved by the original developers but also restores and enhances cut content such as quests, levels, characters, and dialogue." Fixed that for you, GOG. (The 'Plus' word was missing.)

The game has already for a long time come with the basic fan patch as it was only marginally playable without it. The new thing is how it is now easier to install the Plus version with restored content.
