Hello Everyone! First time writing here :D

I have different accounts on GoG and I noticed they receive a different kind of mailing.
Actually it's pretty similar, but for example not every account receives "exclusive discounts" newsletter.
I checked spam folder and everything but nothing.

So I just wanna ask if it's a normal behaviour or if some of my account has some kind of problem.
Does it change according to the seniority of the accounts? I don't think it's related to Wishlist cause I receive discounts on game I don't really care of.

I mean the "notification settings" under "orders & settings" >> "subscriptions".

I think the exclusive discounts are based on the games you have wishlisted and the ones you already own, at least in some cases, so it might be normal that you don't receive the same mails if you happen to have different accounts.

I subscribed everything!
That's the reason why I can't understand the differences in the received newsletters.

FalloutDefault: I think the exclusive discounts are based on the games you have wishlisted and the ones you already own, at least in some cases, so it might be normal that you don't receive the same mails if you happen to have different accounts.

I was thinking the same as you, so I will keep track of the discounts in the next month.
But currently the discounts I received and my library or wishlists don't seems to be related.
I checked also this theory. At the moments it seems to be more related to seniority, but I can't be sure of it.

My most recent exclusive discount emails:

Stardew Valley - on my wish list
Edge of Eternity - not on my wish list, but it's an RPG? and I have mostly RPGs on GOG

I don't have the emails anymore but I remember the other exclusive discounts being primarily RPGs or things on my wish list when not RPGs. Occasionally, I'll get something that has me wondering why GOG would think I would ever want that but there may be a few some that they send to everyone and not just based on your purchase / wish list habits.
I haven't noticed any strange patterns. Sooner or later, I end up getting all the discounts that people mention in the newsletter discounts thread. The only ones that I don't receive are those for games that I already own -for obvious reasons.
they need to offer discounts based on the games that are added to your wishlist.

I received Stardew discount too, but it isn't on my wishlist and it's far to be my genre.
So I thought everyone receive everything.

But it doesnt seems to be in this way. Well it will remain a mistery! :D
I'll take a look in the near future if also my new account will receive discounts.
