I changed my mind. I will wait with Siegfried, Tanea, Loradan, and Roosevelt for Shins A'Hoy to check out the west tunnel. Don't want to get myself killed on the first turn.
[Peloquin - Dwarven Thief]

The rapid clawing from the grate next to me is growing louder and louder. Something evil is upon us! There is little time to forge alliances... especially for a dwarven thief that trusts no one on such short notice. Two wooden treasure chests on either side of me. Too convenient to be true. They must be traps and I'm too close for comfort! Others have already begun opening the chests. I activate my ring of free movement (which should protect me from traps and spells ensaring me) and I run away from the grate, towards the northwestern pillar. Thankfully the chain is within reach and I climb it. Their sudden reveal must be a sign that they are not traps... I hope! I climb towards the top, hoping to hide stealthfully in the shadows above. Whatever monsters crawl out of that grate will chase their preys down those tunnels. While I'm up here, I observe if my weight is triggering a chain reaction. Is there something at the top of this pillar, I wonder? Got my shortbow ready, just in case.

Edit: just noticed I spelled my character's name incorrectly. Fixed to Peloquin rather than Paloquin. Sorry!

Zayd ibn Yasin knows that his longbow works better on larger areas. He'll stick forward to the larger Southern tunnels, making a mental map of its surrounding. He notice some familiar traces, maybe some will be useful to him and his skill will good for others.

(For a dungeon, this place sure is lively… and noisy.
But even more disturbing are the scratches coming from this metal grate.

My point of interest lies on the two large wooden chests, though the fact that they're already occupied — I'm going to leave them alone to those folks.)

***I decided to venture the smaller tunnel to the north.***

Lazarus — Human Berserker
[Rufus - Human Cleric] location West

Appearing in the west side of the room, Rufus took time to analyze what was happening, but now it's time to act!
Speaking loudly and trying to reach everybody ears:
"IT MUST BE A CHALLENGE FROM THE GODS."
As a large party is forming near the west alley, I hope to convince those who aren't already decided: "We better keep together, come and join us."

Rufus is going towards the west party but wait at the entrance of the alley for possible remaining party members.
As a danger is approching, he keeps his Shield and his Light-Hammer in hands.
He's ready to hit whatever is necessary: the west column, the walls of the west alley entrance, or just some Evil creatures.
Gilius, Dwarven Druid

After awakening and looking at everyone here and there switching positions, I decide to head near the West entrance, behind all other characters here.
There, I decide to cast a spell and summon a Stone Elemental.
I tell others nearby to let it go front to face any hazard there. If someone wants to check for traps in the tunnel, I'll command the elemental to escort him/her.
After that, I'll keep an eye on what's happening in the starting room.

ConsulCaesar: I, Siegfried the Human Paladin, draw my longsword and point it towards the darkness, determined to find if there is an exit to the dungeon in the West tunnel. I reach my hand to the nearest torch to see if there is a way to pick it up and light the way. I will scratch it with my own sword if that's necessary. I concentrate to focus my mind off the metal grate, too far from my reach to do anything right now, and I prick up my ears for signs of Undead presence in the hidden shades of the tunnel.

I turn my sight to the rest of heroes around me, inviting them to join me in the search and vowing to protect their lives and cure their ailments as long as I am breathing.
I, Strigon, the Drow Necromancer cast upon me the death armor spell, and lines up behind Siegfried facing the dungeon in the West tunnel.

01kipper: Kip (Halfling Brigand)

Kip will join the party heading into the small southern tunnel.

He will volunteer to take the first rank (he's good at spotting ambushes) if Og'rialt or Beldarion wish to swap out, otherwise he will happily fill a rank further back instead.
Well met fellow Brigand, and be welcome! I'll gladly swap with you while I wait to see if any more join us, making certain they don't accidentally trigger my fire trap, though I'm still hoping yonder elven thief migth be interested in joining us and taking point to spot any traps.

Aramandur: Fellow travellers! What do you think about planning our journey this way? We may get out alive if we stay together!

misteryo: Seeing as how most of y'all hate me, I decline the invitation to join your party. I wish you health.

Rizzleskiff heads into the smaller Northern tunnel, lingering so as to be the last to enter, keeping a good 50 feet at least behind any others who are entering the same tunnel.
StrangerDanger, Elven Ranger
Right beside you my drow shaman with my trusty arrows

Welcome to our party, Kip! Great riches and glory await us, and your company is certainly welcome.
By the way, Og'rialt, would you mind covering our tracks? I have the feeling that foul creatures will start crawling behind us very soon, and we wouldn't like them to follow our scent...
Noble Triock Ulagolor, the youngest son of legendary hero Jandar Zylkalyn, stands still for a while, looking around and carefully observing all those "people" in the chamber. Then, after a while, with an old elvish chant on his lips, he draws his famous flamesword Riarwirn and proceeds to the main South tunnels.
[Raybur - Male Dwarven Cleric] Location: near the east tunnel.

Raybur observes the plethora of people trapped with him in the dungeon, at least he feels more confortable underground than most of the others, the noise at the large metal door is becoming louder ... undead ... he can almost smell it, despite being especially trained at fighitng them he felt uneasy.
Still undecided at what to do he sees a couple of elf heading towards the east tunnel, a fair lady of the woods and a mage, deciding it would be wise to leave the central chamber as fast as possible he decides to catch up and join them.

Halfling berserker Misery hefts his mighty warhammer,
glares suspiciously at the nearby western tunnel
boldly strides down the eastern passage while rubbing his red colored bear-skull helmet for luck
high rated
To make it easier for everyone and myself, here's a recap of what's happened:

Please note this is incomplete and I've only gone to page 12, I have to go now so some people might have changed their minds
The main chamber:

Thras' spell revealed a chain next to each of the four pillars.

At the center of the room Thras is trying to open the chest with the top hat.
Opposite to him, LLan14 is lockpicking the chest with the hornet if listening to it first to check if somethign's inside isn't a valid actin(hopefully it doesn't contain hornets!).

Ioanna casts a buff, while remaining in the circular chamber
Darrim
Korotan (looking for patrty)
Damon checking out the grate (and?) near the hornet chest
Enebias standing concealed
Squee is scanning the North Tunnel for traps and secret doors from the shadows
Trid the Drow Necromancer is looking to party up
Gold the Goblin Ranger joins Trid and looks for hidden secrets
Roosevelt the Human Paladin joins Siegried
Mrkgnao melds into a column"the Eastern one if arranged along the cardinals, the Southeastern one if arranged along the diagonals)"
Kyp thinks about pulling the chains - dwarf Ranger

Going North:

Aleric the dwarven cleric with a summoned Holy Guardian
Stepareth
Danric
Dwarf Berserker Catac1ysm

North smaller tunnel:

Oldnick Drow Thief
(joined by other drow in later posts I think?)

Going West:

Siegfried the human paladin
Benkii the Warrior
Tanea the Halfing Shaman
Loradan the Mage
Origi the Halfling battlemage
Roy and casts web into the center of the room (!!!)

Going South:
Arsalan the Elven Mage with Summoned Monster

South Smaller Tunner:
Gogtrial+others?

Thulgrun the Warrior
Max son of Fulvus the Thief
Babargh the Cleric +Svartalf the battlemage + smartyFartBlart the Human Paladin

Going East:
Maxvorstad (+Caldrun, other orcs too?)

te_lanus
Beatrice with barkskin spell

This is incomplete and I know several people have changed what they decided to do (mostly in which direction to go), this is up to date until page 12, I have to run now, this took longer to write, but I may finish it later. I do know that Gogtrial maanged to get a full party into the south tunnel and there are more drow going into another tunnel, so do consider this incomplete!
Feel free to quote my post and add in bold (so it's easier to see) any changes.

idbeholdME: Svartalf the Battlemage scans over the entire, slightly chaotic situation while hefting his trusty War Hammer - The Pulverizer, magically imbued to smash through any armor or shield without issue. Clad in his Mithril Chainmail and a variety of defensive spells (Dispel Magic, Reflect Missiles, Reflect Spells, Magic Shield) and his one favorite offensive spell, the Fireball at the ready, he assesses the situation.

The sounds coming from the middle grate are definitely not a good sign and it would be prudent to get as far away from here as possible as fast as possible. Some fools, ignoring the obvious danger, descend upon the chests like locusts, greed suppressing any concern for the slowly but steadily nearing danger. Let them lose time, effort and potentially their life.

Counting the members in the groups around the tunnels, he notices that there are 13 other individuals near the South tunnel where he is currently standing. Overall, he sees a pretty likable group with the exception of a single filthy Drow. He also spots several other dwarves. A Warrior, a Thief and even a Cleric. As a Battlemage, he feels that if him and these individuals banded together, they would complement each other quite well, covering a wide array of skills.

After a brief introduction, he extends and offer to the 3 other dwarves to create a party (Thulgrun the Warrior, Max son of Fulvus the Thief and Babargh the Cleric) hoping that as usual, the dwarves will trust their own kind and face the dangers together. He also mentions the smaller tunnel which seems to run parallel with the main South Tunnel but still remains uncertain whether or not it is worth exploring.

bler144: I, SmartyFartBlart the Paladin will raise my shield as a bulwark against whatever lurks in the dark..
avatar
idbeholdME: SmartyFartBlart, the slightly fanatical Paladin is already shouting things about smiting evil and being a "shield against the darkness" in a true Paladin fashion. He said he would guard the tunnel. But Svartalf likes his quick call to action and so far, he is the only one from the group who seems interested to begin the journey as fast as possible by suggesting that a thief scout the tunnel for traps. He seems decisive and quick to act, all good qualities in a fight and thus, Svartalf also extends the offer of partying up to him.

TLDR:
I offer to:
Thulgrun the Warrior
Max son of Fulvus the Thief
Babargh the Cleric

and

SmartyFartBlart the Paladin

to party up. If they do not decide before it is time to move, I will take their answer as a no.
As a dwarf, it's difficult to trust people when they are taller than you.
As a thief, it's difficult to trust people when you choose a path which is not conventional.
As a dwarven thief, it's difficult to trust people in general.

When I was young (around 50 years old), I wanted to be a miner under the mountains, like my father, my grandfather and all members of my family for generations, but I understood it was easier to steal gold than mining for hours. My stupid king, Durin XXI, wasn't agreed with my point of view and decided to banish me from the kingdom forever.
So, I decided to start a journey across the lands, hoping to find some adventures and claiming some golds with my talents... but I wasn't ready for that unexpected journey !

I'm wake up in the middle of a disparate and noisy crowd in a circular chamber. "Where am I ? Who are these people ?"
All I remember is my chat with an old ermit in the forest of the Doom. He told me that a great treasure was hidden deeper in the forest : the "FCK DRM", a powerful artifact made by GOG, the old god of the tribes of the East. "Only the braves or the fools could dare to reclaim it", he said. "Are you one of them ? You might not return...".
"Certainty of death, small chance of success. What am I waiting for ?", I answered him.
The ermit smiled and concluded : "Good. an other challenger to entertain me !". Then, the black hole.

Among these creatures, I see some brothers from distant clans and a human Paladin discussing each other. One of them, Svartalf the Battlemage, proposes me to join them in a party. I guess it's better to walk with honorable members of the light than walking alone in the darkness.

So, me, Max son of Fulvus, I gladly accept and decide to join :

Svartalf the Battlemage
Thulgrun the Warrior
Babargh the Cleric
SmartyFartBlart the Paladin

to explore those tunnels together and share our fates.

I start by exploring the south tunnels ahead and scouting for traps with my high perception.
