Thank you for another generous giveaway Doc. I'm IN for in order of preference (if possible):

SOMA
PILLARS OF ETERNITY: HERO EDITION
BALDUR'S GATE II: ENHANCED EDITION
THE SABOTEUR
CRYSIS
CRYSIS WARHEAD
UNDERTALE

Only 1 artist? That would get boring quite quickly. Maybe Ludovico Einaudi:

Doc0075: Iron Maiden bring back some of my fondest gaming memories though (plus their music is bloody great). I started gaming on the Commodore Plus/4 and my brothers various Spectrums, both of which had notoriously crappy sound.
Then listen to this, my friend, and enjoy your wholesome nostalgia. :-)

Answering your question, it's really hard to choose a single artist, but I'd probably pick Bruce Springsteen.

Thank you for the giveaway, I am in for "The Saboteur".
Thank you for the great giveaway Doc!

Won a game in some previous giveaway so not in this time. As for the question; I can't possibly think of a good answer. How am I supposed to choose The Doors over Led Zeppelin or Jethro Tull, Maiden over Black Sabbath or (early) Metallica or Testament, Atheist over Death/Necrophagist/Emperor/Dimmu Borgir/Immortal (for the heavier folks in here ;) ), Dave Brubeck over Jaco Pastorius and Miles Davis, Bach over f@#king Beethoven (for the even more heavier folks in here)?

Anyway, since i can't get out of here without choosing someone, i choose mr Waits. ;)
I will go with Antti Martikainen . Used to listen to a lot of metal on top of going to concerts but lately(last 3-4 years) I switched to epic music and its so hard to go back to anything else.

I'm in for:

Crysis
Crysis Warhead
Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition.

Thanks for the giveaways!

Thank you for the GA!! +1 for the GA

I will go with Weird Al as someone else did. Weird Al has been around for decades and has been able to adapt to many generations of people both young and old.

I AM IN FOR: (In this order if possible)

PILLARS OF ETERNITY: HERO EDITION
BALDUR'S GATE II: ENHANCED EDITION
Just 1!? I very much dislike these types of questions!!! I think I'd ultimately be upset if I picked anything other than

Beethoven

as much as I don't listen to his stuff frequently, I think I'd be kicking myself if I didn't allow myself his compositions ever again

I like Iron Maiden! Doc, I think you should check out Iced Earth if you don't know them! (I considered putting them here)

I LOOOOVE Nick Cave! He was a consideration for this too!!!

Dream Theater was also considered

I'm in! thanks very much, doc, for the opportunity and generosity!!! by order of interest:

Kentucky Route Zero
The Saboteur
SOMA

good luck, everyone!

That's actually pretty good. Unfortunately most games on the Plus/4 were C16 games and sounded nothing like that :(

Pick a single band/artist?! Must be someone I could listen to again and again and again... maybe Sade then. An awful thing asking us to pick just one.

Only one of those games is high enough on my wishlist that I wish to participate IN this for:

The Saboteur

Yet once more, such a nice giveaway.

If bands that are no longer around count, I'd go with the Beatles.

I'll be in for The Walking Dead: Season 2 and Kentucky Route Zero Season Pass.

Thanks for the giveaway!

There are just as many living original members of the Beatles as there are The Who so they should count.

Actually less. Ringo wasn't an original member.
Only one band allowed to live past the apocalypse? Though choice, but I'll pick Stryper after all. Their music always leave me in a good mood.

I'm in, but I'll restrict myself to games I do not have and would play, i.e:
UNDERTALE
THE SABOTEUR™
KENTUCKY ROUTE ZERO SEASON PASS
CRYSIS®
CRYSIS WARHEAD®

Mmmmm... Choosing a band is quite difficult for me, but QUEEN would do... Princes of The Universe all the way, Immortals! ;)

I am in for UNDERTALE.

Thank you for the great giveaway, Doc0075!

REDVWIN
I'm in. I'd choose...hmm...(The Lord Weird) Slough Feg. Still active, a sizeable discography, not a single bad album. Can't think of many (any?) others that fulfill the same criteria. Here's a sample: The Wickerman. I think the most fanboyish music-related thing I ever did was send them an email. They replied :)

Pillars of Eternity
Freedom Planet
Kentucky Route Zero SP
Crysis
Undertale

Indeed. The Plus/4's sound chip (TED) had none of the extensive sound features found in the C64's one (SID) and performed horribly when compared to the latter.
even created [url=http://c128.com/sites/default/files/images/commodore/pic5662g.jpg]a SID sound card for the Plus/4 because of the disappointment.

Ah, the memories! The golden age of computing, my C64, and the Ocean loader...
Thanks for the giveaway!

I'll be in for:
6. PILLARS OF ETERNITY: HERO EDITION

Your question is absolutely impossible. But after thinking for a while, I'd pick an artist who's at the very start of her career, and is brimming with promise for far more goodness still to come to hopefully help the world overcome the utter tragedy of the disappearance of everyone else. Several names come to mind fitting those criteria, but based on the current phase of the moon, I'd say: Aurora.
