mrkgnao: I hadn't, but I did just now. Nothing but the standard options.

MarkoH01: In that case they really have to add a US download option for offline installer user.

However I am curious: What are the differences between US and UK version? I guess in both games the spoken language is "English" right? :)
Perhaps the subtitles (e.g. honour vs. honor). Perhaps the accent. Perhaps some censorship.

I thought you were aware bout the "what" and could tell me ... but if not that is okay as well. Guess I will have to do some research myself :)

Btw: I just told GOG about this problem and about the fact that additional features that can only be used with Galaxy are absolutely unacceptable. Let's hope that they do something about it.

That reminds me of the game "Normality", where the US version was completely redone with new voices.

The US version also has configurable keyboard input and some undisclosed bugfixes.
You can download a UK to US patch from here: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Realms_of_the_Haunting#Patches until they stop with the Galaxy-only nonsense.
Thank you both for your research. Added for now. Hopefully to be removed soon, when GOG updates the offline installers accordingly.

mrkgnao: Realms of the Haunting

According to today's changelog, GOG has added the US version of the game, but only via galaxy ("You can now switch between the UK and US versions using the GOG GALAXY language option"). I have downloaded the updated offline installers, and as far as I can see only the UK version is available, at least for now.
I guess we can remove this from the list since GOG reacted:

"We're fixing it and we'll have US version as a default option for Offline Installers with two additional files for UK version (marked as British-English). Hope this helps!"

Thanks for letting me know, since the game was not marked as updated for me.

Sorry. Not yet.

While the screenshot you have posted is indeed what I see too, once one clicks on the links, it becomes clear that both sets of files are in fact identical. They both point to setup_realms_of_the_haunting_1.12_gog_v2_(british_english)_(80935).exe and setup_realms_of_the_haunting_1.12_gog_v2_(british_english)_(80935)-1.bin.

So for now there are two copies of UK, but still no US.

On it.
Forwarded it and will post the momenmt I have news. Thanks for the testing.
At least we know that GOG is willing to fix this ... it's probably just the usual GOG.bug-delay ;)

Appreciate the heads-up, sounds like GOG jumped the gun a bit with the changelog. Hopefully the real US version gets pushed soon.

Two Point Hospital - part of the single-player content is gated through online connectivity. I.e. one has to register online and be online to unlock. Plus: core gamplay mechanics (staff handling, diagnostics) are bugged in offline mode.

The "plus" part can be removed, this was fixed a while ago. Thought you'd already removed it. (The online research appears still to be present with stuff available only that way.)

Thanks! I removed the plus part.
