I bumped into a large man at a mall. When he turned around, I saw his infant child fused into his chest. The man didn't say anything at first, but his eyes were cold and dead, and they pierced into mine. When I finally asked him what had happened to him and his child, the child spoke instead, and the voice didn't match. It sounded like an adult. The child told me he was going to die soon, his father's heart pushes his blood through his body too hard and fast for him to live. When I asked the father directly how that made him feel, he finally opened his mouth and said, in these exact words, "I never had an easy life, but I had a life, and that's what counts"

I woke up after that.

Oh,what a shame.
Here's one that happened to me the other day:

While asleep, around the time it made sense to get up, a version of the chocobo theme (from the Final Fantasy series) played in my head. Here are some details on that particular version:
*: It was a simple piano version
*: It was slower than most renditions, but not too slow (Andante)
*: It was fairly basic; none of the fancy stuff that is found on later versions of the theme
*: It was just the later part of the theme (specifically, it is the part that did not appear in the theme's original appearance in FF2)
*: I didn't recognize the theme until the last few measures

In a sense, perhaps the theme was the bird waking me up. (Chocobos actually are birds, but most don't fly.)

Why this theme, in particular, came in my head then, I don't know.

Ahh,you could say that yes.
Had a dream about being THE TERMINATOR.

dun dun dun dun dundun

No one was safe from termination.
I have recurring nightmares about the zombie outbreak where zombies never actually show up and every person I've ever met is trying to stay safe from zombies at all costs.

When I was a kid I had a recurring dream where I was stuck in an elevator with the Spice Girls. Also, a nightmare where I was inside a wooden house that was hit by a tsunami-like giant wave. No water entered the house, but it kept spinning round and round.

That was great! Just about the right amount of bizarreness.

I think that is one of the common ones as well. You are pushed into a corner by a natural disaster but the disaster itself isn't really affecting you per se, more like your surrounding which is even worse, the fear about what is to happen stays constant while you have to potential to feel survivor guilt.
What's wrong with the post I made in this thread? Why is it "low rated"?

The topic asked for dreams, and I posted a dream. What's so bad about that?

Probably nothing which mean it's your former posts that upset someone or some member. You must have noticed this before? It seems to happen all the time.
I was a reporter, or something similar, during a violent zombie outbreak. I was making my way to a government owned submarine that was parked at a dock nearby. I came across a group of survivors outside near a cave and some forest out in a very green field with a grey sky hanging above.

For some reason, in the dream, I could only bring so many survivors with me before I "maxed out", so it had random video game logic in it. A red headed girl and skinny looking guy had to be left behind, and my excuse was "too big a crowd would just attract them".

When I found the submarine and went inside it was guarded by the SAS for some reason. The others went about their business while I explored. There were guards everywhere, and every time I opened the door to a bathroom it was pitch dark, and eerie ambiance would play. Armed with only a flashlight I neared one of the last bathrooms and before I could even fully step in a roach skittered out in front of me from under a stall. It said something to me in the dream but I can't remember at all... I think it was something about the coming apocalypse.

Eventually I went back out, feeling bad about the two people I left behind. When I found them they were both depressed and suicidal. They ran out into the fields while I watched, and attracted the undead. She got her head ripped off and was torn open and eaten while he was totally mobbed and I couldn't even see him anymore. I remember only feeling mournful for their decision but ultimately I went back to the sub.

Woke up some time after that.

It still isn't a good justification for downrating that particular post.

Personally I might agree but it's not about justification, it's total freedom to downvote or upvote however you want. What guidelines would be in place to dictate and who should enforce it? The only enforcement that could possibly be done without moderators hands are signs of usernames under a post who upvoted and downvoted but even that will just cause further forum wars between what's justified or not.
