I have a spare code for Dreamfall Chapters from the summer sale left which expires on July 31, 2016 which I don't need as I have a copy already so I decided to fire off a quick giveaway so that someone who wants this game may benefit from it. The giveaway will run probably until sometime on the weekend or early next week.

Rules for entry:

1) Must have joined GOG in May 2016 or earlier.

2) Must not be listed on any of the community scammer lists (if anyone enters and someone knows they are a scammer, please message me privately to let me know, do not do it in public please, I'd like to avoid public flamewars)

3) You must only enter for yourself and redeem it right away if you win because this is very time limited due to the expiry date on the code.

4) State clearly I'm in to be entered in the giveaway.

Optional for fun: Tell me how many GOG games you have installed on your computer currently and if you use Galaxy possibly include a screenshot to show off your installed collection if you like. :) (not necessary to win, just for fun)


Update: Thanks to Geralt_of_Rivia, our friendly forum Witcher I've discovered that the key I have for this game is actually valid until July 31st rather than 24 hours as mentioned in the thread subject, so I decided to extend the giveaway time frame for an undetermined amount of time (probably a few days) in order to allow more people to enter for a chance to win.

Huh? I just checked to make sure and the Spelunky and Dreamfall codes I received from the Summer Sale expire on 2016-07-31, so there's still 10 days left to give them away.

Ah, thanks for the info! I was under the impression they lasted for 30 days and the 21st will be a month. It didn't give an expiry date anywhere and I wanted to make sure someone gets the game. I didn't think I could test the code without it redeeming and wasting it, as I thought GOG had changed the way that works lately because I had a code from them which instantly expired once it was touched. I just tested this code though and you are indeed correct, it says July 31, 2016 expiry on it so I may decide to extend the giveaway time in order to allow more people to enter. Thanks for mentioning this.

The code that I got from GOG that expired when it was touched was a special code so that could explain why it expired immediately once it was entered. I had to contact them to request another code for that, which solved the problem. I just didn't want to have it happen again. :)

Not exactly certain how many gog games I currently have installed, but it'll be around 25; of which I'm actively trying to play 7 atm (luckily two of them are close to finishing) - getting totally overwhelmed since joining the forum. :P But hey, I guess that means that a potential 8th one won't make that big of a dent anymore now. *g*

Well, if you really want to give them but don't have the time to do your own giveaway, you can probably contact skeletonbow and ask him if he accepts code donation. This way skeletonbow can draw more winners of his giveaway. Try chatting him about it. Perhaps he's OK with it.
I know this had happened before with other giveaway.

I put them up in the trade thread for Return to Wolfenstein. These 3 for 1 should be a good deal IMO.

Yeah, there are probably other people with codes to get rid of so if they want to add them to this giveaway that's fine with me, I can pick multiple winners, or moonshineshadow's giveaway. To be honest, I would have just thrown my code into the community giveaway but I thought it was going to expire quickly and that putting it up as a separate giveaway immediately was the best way to ensure someone would get it in 24hrs to avoid any code shuffling and communication lag. :)
