You're in luck then! (maybe)

I have a spare key for Divinity: Original Sin that I want to give away, but I'm also curious about what people would say about music they're not familiar with, or is something outside their taste, or maybe they actually like it, I don't know. But if you want to enter this giveaway, I'd like you to listen to two music albums of my selection and write about them here. It doesn't matter if you like them, if you understand them, if they not entertain you enough or whatever. What matters is listening to the whole albums, without skipping, and then sharing your thoughts on them in 100 words. 100 words is not much, it's like two short paragraphs. In fact, this paragraph is already longer than 100 words.

The albums are these:

Bobby McFerrin's Circlesongs - https://open.spotify.com/album/1ZNehmY9HG5GQ4zUOU0LP2

Bobby McFerrin's Bang! Zoom - https://open.spotify.com/album/4xEpN3p9NEcdQ9ujEcuqLk

Bobby McFerrin's VOCAbuLarieS - https://open.spotify.com/album/0rjE1zlJ6rqllWesCjm8Cg

Bobby McFerrin with Chick Corea "Play" - https://open.spotify.com/album/2PlYoFtXudlO55Sf3JUTzb

Select two of these four albums, listen to the entire albums, and post here. The reason I picked four albums only from this one artist is that it makes it sort of easier to compare between them or check how the musical expression changes on different albums of one artist (I guess?).

The winner will be selected by random on sunday.

If you don't want to join the giveaway but you still want to listen to the music and share your thoughts, just state that you're not in. Also, if for some reason the albums are not available in your region on spotify, then state that here so I can come up with some different solution (not sure if it's on youtube in full).
not in but....

Doom = Master of Puppets or And Justice for All

Not in, but thanks for the giveaway. I feel you should select yourself the winner though, not random it because it is one game you offer and ask for personal expression to qualify for the prize. Good luck.
The last time I listened to two albums of music whilst playing a game, was never and never it will stay.Question answered.
Ooh awesome I love being introduced to new music, whether it is of my own taste or not. I will be back to share my thoughts later hopefully :3

But that would be based on what? What matters is that people actually take some time to listen to the music and say something about it, regardless of whether they liked it or disliked it or whether their writing or critique is somehow eloquent or something. Positive or negative opinion on the subject should not affect the chances of winning so picking the winner at random seems more fair. The participants only need to do something more than just stating that they wish to participate, they don't need to do it better than other participants.

I just thought it could be interesting for people to try to expose themselves to something they possibly never heard and never would have listened to otherwise.
I'll give them a listen later, had to find out what my Spotify login even was.
Yup often, more so with grog games as the music is terrible, or none-existent.

( gave the music a listen, after finding it on YT, not my thing. )

Not in tho.

Not in this time.

Bobby McFerrin is quite famous. His albums are interesting. I have one or two. Cannot access those links as they are on Spotify, a service I do not use.

Not in, but willing to bolster this thread.
I listened to the first two albums. Enjoyed this, was relaxing.

Circlesongs: surely interesting and abstract feeling. Kind of far off land sort of music. Intriguing but strangely familar.
The songs become more mysterious into the album, though that feeling of mystery and intrigue is through out. Interesting use of vocal type sounds.

Bang! Zoom
Quite a different style though some similarities. The first song vocal and upbeat. More happy and cheerful. Interesting rhythm. Still somewhat has that far off feeling but a little less mysterious and more grounded, closer to home.
I like the softness and the jumping between tones. Pleasant freedom is a voice, is quite a nice relaxing song. The song after this (Heaven's Design) is much more relaxed and toned down, melodic.

Thanks for sharing the music and I'll enter for the giveaway. cheers
ah cool :D finally someone actually participating, I was beginning to worry :D
I already have Divinity: Original Sin, but this is a really cool idea.
I'm still waiting for more participants though. I might have to extend the giveaway
Worry not, here come the second entries. The more the merrier. Thanks for inspiring me to listen new musical ground.

Jazz Vocal is not my usual cup of tea. This is why I'm not familiar with Bobby McFerrin's body of work. But Chick Corea is very familiar for me, or to be exact his 70's fusion jazz band Return to Forever. Romantic Warrior is a must listen for every music enthusiast. That's why their live album Play is one that I choose to listen first. They thankfully open with a familiar song for me, Spain - Corea's most famous composition. No need to save the best for last perhaps. The rest of the show is not for a casual listener though, as McFerrin vocal would jump from one direction to another sometimes with reckless abandonment. But those who familiar with Jazz Standards would be intrigue with his vocalization. Corea is amazing throughout, a steady contributor who is willing to take a back seat for the night. Though Round Midnight is what nabs a Grammy for McFerrin, have to say that Even for Me is my faves in this particular live album.

The 2nd album of my choice is VOCAbuLarieS. To say this is an ambitious project is an understatement. Here he basically works as a composer and arranger of a choir. The composition varied from African (Baby) to Middle Eastern (Wailer) and European Classical Music in Messages and Brief Eternity. This is an album that I personally
needs repeated hearing. And if anyone interested to hear it, please don't use headphones. Blast your speaker to the fullest to appreciate it grace!
