ion00: Just a heads up. Yuzusoft is a company which does not decensor its games for the Western market. Buying games from them is sending a message to other Japanese developers that it's ok for them to release censored games in the West, and hence encourage further censorship. My advice is to save your money and to buy other NekoNyan published games from other, better developers who do decensor their games such as Alcot, ASa Project, Lump of Sugar, or Smee. I hope to see some of the games from these developers here in the future.

Also, many companies are being told to destroy the demosaiced originals because they're illegal in Japan. Yep, even Empress. You can't own that shit, they put you in jail for it. So you'd better suck it up buddy, because A Housewife's Healing Touch also comes to the west and every adult platform will have it with mosaics. The best you can hope for is that fans make demosaic versions of these games because Japan is changing in regards to their mosaic laws, or perhaps they're now more strict. Dohna Dohna is the top selling eroge game in Japan, people in the west love it and yes, it too has mosaics. These are not going away. I'm here to tell you that the days of the demosaiced hentai are about over with.
Marcus-Havoc: Don't worry too much about wanting more to get translated or the idea that they will be fading, seeing as in Japan there are barely any VN being released anymore. And they won't be seeing much of those sales from the west.
The low pay thing is a more stupid argument, seeing as some translators seem to have the opposite view about it. But then again, you can also wonder what could be considered low pay. Some people feel entitled to a king salary for an average day's work. There is a difference between a man who does hard labor or one that just translates words.
If I recall, they got paid more if the game sold well. That's kinda becoming harder now when they themselves have made a bad reputation of their own quality of translation. Some even boast about rewriting stuff or adding bullshit in there.
My standards are a bit higher when it comes to quality and general respect to the source material. Simply keep buying a botch product will never get it fixed. But then again, To each their own.

There are plenty of visual novels releasing, sometimes on the daily, you're just not looking for them because you don't like English localization. Hundreds release per month! Start checking steam and other eroge retailers. But since you don't like those retailers and they furthermore do not like you (mods: I'm being honest here, no negativity - they literally do not like him) you wouldn't be checking out their sites in the first place.

You need to get your brain examined. If you go to Getchu you can see the monthly releases for the year by the month, and the VN are pretty much drying up. I know you can't cope with people criticizing your hobby, but for me, the accurate translation is more important than getting a botch product. People like you would buy shit as long as it was wrapped up nice with your favorite packing paper.

Guess I got famous without even knowing it. It's funny how he got upset then, only because I pointed out bad translation or overly Westernized ones with one of his games. The same goes how I called out the fact he hired somebody who mocked his fans by putting Broski in one of the Rance games.

It seems me calling out the fact they add swear words that were never there to begin with is promoting censorship in his eyes. In short, wanting an accurate translation is promoting censorship.

This is one of those comments that really made me laugh. Seeing as I use this name because it's my first ever username using the internet, but guess you gotta use a lot of fantasy with those lies.

If I look at Getchu I see 27 releases and most other that are either multiple releases of the same game or old games getting re-released.
Gotta love how I just trigger you by giving people the option to decide for themselves with showing them the evidence that people behind the scenes tamper with the translation and that most Translators and localizer seem to have a different agenda when it comes to a good translation.
