jkiiskinen: They use words like "fruition" and "ripe", so one might pose the question: where does all this ripe fruition come from? And the obvious answer is: it comes from a seed. An apple seed, a sunflower seed, a random number generator seed ... or a Dark Seed.

Dark Seed also lasts for three days, like the countdown.
Interesting! I'm surprised it took ND so long to bring it back if that is the game, though, considering they brought back IHNM relatively easily and both are DOS titles from the same devs. Must have been legal issues.

EDIT: D'oh! I thought there was a DOS version of Dark Seed 2, but I guess not. It was only for Windows 3.1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Seed_II

Maybe ND spent their time porting 2 (if that's possible)?

I think there has been work to add Dark Seed II to ScummVM compatibility a while back, not sure how it's going these days though.
So is it Bad Mojo or Dark Seed?

Bad Mojo's the one that fits all the clues, so that's where I'm putting my money.
Night Dive posted this on Twitter:"Tick tock tick tock. It is all a waiting game right now."

Sounds like they can't wait to announce what's up either. They've been posting a lot more than their usual teases.

As for if they're working on Bad Mojo or Dark Seed, I'd buy either (and both). I do hope they don't ignore Wizardry 1-5 and System Shock 1, though.

They just posted on their facebook page: "Tomorrow is reaping day!"

Now I'm thinking it might be just Harvester coming to Steam. Meh.

That makes sense, but meh as well, though.

Night Dive usually doesn't go to this much trouble to promote a game that someone else has rescued and then they bring to Steam. Normally that's a Facebook post saying that they brought the game to Steam and you should go check it out. This level of teasing is reserved for what they've rescued from the licensing nightmare.

I didn't notice this before, but there's a scythe and a Steam logo on the 1 Day picture on their facebook, so pretty sure it's Harvester for Steam.
Was that all they were teasing, nothing for GOG?
Yeah, is this the big news they were supposed to reveal around the end of March? Pretty disappointing if it is.

What's the big news?

Elmofongo: What's the big news?
I don't know, but they tweeted in early March that they will have some sort of big announcement soon, then reiterated that the announcement should be coming towards the end of the month.

I've prepared my thoughts when they announce it:

"Congrats to ND and Harvester fans; I'm sure this will make them very happy. However, as a GOG fan, I do hope many fans/people purchased this game on GOG, and I hope GOG continues to have various exclusive titles so as to help push people out of a "Steam-only" mindset and keep competition alive. (apologies, I wanted to say what was on my mind.)"
