Has anyone noticed that the decent looking games, whether new or old, that seem to have good gameplay, seem to be "coming soon" or have a demo?

Everything else that is released recently is either a cartoon iOS game, roguelike indie, NSFW game, 2D pixel art, or an obscure retro that no one has heard of.

Talk about a snooze fest for releases lately, imo. Not sure how GoG has survived this long with so many droughts.

Not sure what the problem here is. It's nice that we can check out the demo now before the full game releases next week. Might help some people to decide if they actually want to get the full game or not.

I agree with what you say. I loved the first "Ghostrunner" but I wasn't sure about the second because the price seems quite high. But I tested the demo and it reassured me. So I pre-ordered the game. =)

On the other hand, I'm afraid the game won't sell much on GOG.

Maybe you need to get your dopamine elsewhere. Gog isn't financially worthwhile to big publishers and there's nothing they can do about that; most PC gamers just want to buy everything on Steam. AAA titles are a pleasant surprise, not the norm.

I just finished the demo and I'm still shaking in adrenaline :D

Yeah, I'm an old man and this was one heck a ride. I think I'll buy the game but actually I have other games on my shopping list that have a higher priority.

Not a bad game though!

Wow, seeing as I said "imo" which means in my opinion. Didn't mention you are your friend below you. Gave my opinion. But seeing as you are "arrogant" enough to think I was even talking to you and being from Germany, it stands par for the course that you would react in a typical self projecting fashion to try and belittle people who have an opinion.

Also, you obviously didn't read my post anyway. I said "imo" which means in my opinion. You Europeans really don't like people giving their opinions or having an individual thought do you?

Sorry, but your "imo" was pretty well hidden under all this "how could GOG even survive" words - I just overlooked it. I still find it extremely strange how anybody could think that only a certain kind of games - the ones they like themselves - would get purchased here ... especially when we take into account there were obviously enough purchases that GOG survived 15 years. Key to survival often is diversifiication because different people have different wishes.

I am not quite sure why anything I said should have to do with the fact that I am from Germany though. I don't have a problem with anybody having an opinion (and those who know me know this as well), I only have a problem if someone thinks that their opinion should be the only correct one ... that's why I used the word "arrogant". On a sidedote: It is not typical for Germans to belitle those who have an opinion ... don't know where this is coming from.
