Quickly grabbing the DLC I don't have

저기: Don't forget the Farm DLC, release in 2 weeks.
I doubt it will come now since the core game will be gone.

But we'll see
Sad to see. This was a low-priority wishlist for me for a while.
Oh well. Seems like they don't want my money for the upcoming DLC.

paladin181: They're probably deciding to "screw us" (they're not) because too few people put money into their game.
Delisting the game, which almost certainly means they're never going to update it more, and already were behind in releases... Yeah, that's screwing us. It's not like they're refunding me.
In the german-speaking forum I maintain a list of all games that have been removed from the GOG catalog and have not yet been included again.

Collective thread on GOG catalog removals

It might be interesting for some of you.

Unbelievable how many games vanished from my wishlist without me even noticing it.
Just when you think things are going so well, somebody has to pull the plug.
I am hoping I can play and receive updates for my base game and any of my purchased DLC's from GOG, but I'm more worried about what happens when I to play this game and any of the DLC's through another launcher client ( *excluding "Steam"-ing sh*t of course and their damned keys)
I'm a relatively new gamer who is trying to get a grasp on the do's don'ts and hell No's involved in these cross linked playgrounds. (Or better yet these greedy Turf Wars) I found myself in. These are my purchased games after all and not owned exclusively by Microsoft or Apple ( fyi: I wouldn't even tell my least favorite Landlord to buy anything iOS) and nor are they made for specific console platform devices, so I'd rather my games were not my held hostage thank you.
sorry, back to the point
I'm just asking if I bought House Flipper's base game and a few DLC's on GOG and had a desire to buy (*not Steam) my next DLC from a launcher/game store I have linked with GOG. Will I be able to receive any future updates included through that Alt, and will I be able to use all of them together or might I somehow find myself S.O.L. and end up having to repurchase the base game from anyone else who I had the dumb idea to buy a DLC's from? Maybe this is a dev or game specific thing that I might have to ask H.F Empyrean, Frozen District, Ultimate Games about?
Is this even something anyone could or should know or am I just too much of a Noob to be pondering such deep mysteries?

Helleskitten505505:
If you're asking if you can buy the Farm add-on elsewhere to use with GOG's version of the base game then probably not. I don't think you could use Epic's version with the game but I'm not sure. I've never used Galaxy to buy anything from Epic and never will. If I want to buy something from Epic then I'll use Epic's store directly. Maybe someone else here can answer that for you. The only game I know of that continued to receive updates here after being removed, to my knowledge, is The Long Dark. I don't know why that is.

Anyway, if you want to buy everything for a game from a store, buy everything from that store. I don't recommend trying to buy pieces from different stores.

I'm still annoyed that I didn't buy "The Long Dark" back then. I didn't realize it was removed from the shop at the time. :-(
But I think it's great that the developer has continued to provide updates.

You're not the only one, I'm still kicking myself even now. And I was on-line here at the time it was announced that it was being de-listed, and with a discount too. I chose not to purchase it, because I was lead to believe it was an incomplete game, and it wasn't. Gah!...

Well then we'll kick each other, it's definitely easier :-D

I was hoping someone somewhere was selling a GOG account with a few games in it and this title would be in it. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Should I ever be able to acquire such an account, I will think of you. :)

PS: I like your avatar graphic, what does it belong to?

Thanks!. But I still live in the hope, that some day, it will eventually make a return to GoG, considering those that previously bought it here are still receiving updates, so the support is still there, so can't see why they won't sell it here again too...

It's a picture from back in the day when the demo scene was a thing, and I was still using my Amiga...

Really nice picture. I had an Amiga too (and a Commodore 64).

I was referring to the post before me. It has a list of delisted games. On this list I found a lot of forgotten games from my wishlist.

I was pulling your leg!. Although it wasn't obvious (or meant to be) from my previous post. I just though it quite humorous by the way you had written it. :)
