ciemnogrodzianin: Probably it was never discounted enough, because for some reason I don't own it

Kerebron: I bought it with 80% discount in November 2017.

Cavalary: IsThereAnyDeal lists 75% off on March 25-29 2016 and 70% on Nov 22-27 2016. Just 50% since.

Kerebron: This webpage is notorious for being incorrect - I tried it a couple of times and it was always wrong.
75%, crawled on March 26, 2016
The two crawls I see from Nov 2017 are from Nov 25 and Nov 29, both listing 50%

tfishell: Did Atari "repurchase" titles? If so, is this one of them? In any case, I certainly hope it will return.
Microprose is the developer... so yes

The Falcon IP is owned by Tommo, Inc.

No idea why they'd want to sell exclusively on Steam, unless perhaps they have issues with GOG. Steam does a lot of heavy lifting with regards to DRM, and maybe GOG does not meet their standards in the same way. Pointless to speculate without further information, but it is a sad thing that folks will now have only one place to purchase Falcon products offered in this collection, like Falcon 4.0 (required installation before installing Falcon BMS).

C'est la vie

Clownski_: We’d like to inform you that, due to the change of licensing rights, Falcon Collection will be delisted from our catalog on Thursday, April 27th, 3 PM UTC.

For everyone who purchased the title prior to delisting, it will remain in their GOG library.

deja65: Thanks for the heads up. Let`s hope the new licence owner doesn`t go full out Steam-only... Cheers
The new license owner is Atari.

https://www.gog.com/en/games?publishers=atari

The game will most likely be back.

A lot of the games that were mentioned in that press release were published by Tommo (under their Retroism brand) and / or Night Dive Studios. There's a good chance Atari bought the rights to all of those games from Tommo, they just haven't said so yet.

Thanks for the info. I hope this is good news. Atari is already onboard but a lot has changed since then and i have a weird feeling that the games even if they come back will be separate titles 9.99$ each... I hope i am wrong but for the lads that still can`t make up their mind, just go for it :) The value here is incredible. Cheers

BreOl72: I think 50% off was the lowest ever (I bought it for that price).
avatar
kultpcgames: Me too, and i think it's worth that price for this big bundle.
This!
We're talking about a bundle of four games (Falcon, Falcon A.T., Falcon Gold and Falcon 4.0), after all.
Heck - one could easily argue, that the bundle is well worth the full price of €9,39 (at least, if you're into these classic flight sims).

True!
Any chance it will get on sale before it is delisted?

If it isn't on sale by Wednesday...no chance.

So - best advice: wait until Wednesday and then decide whether you want it (while it's still available here) or not.

As already mentioned above:
if this is the kind of games you're really into - this bundle of four games should be worth the full price to you.

Nice deal. Shame it wasn't repeated in the next 5 years... :(

If it's not discounted now, I'd rather doubt it will change in the next few days...

I'm not saying you're wrong, but: are you sure about the 80% off in November 2017?
Does your receipt confirm that?

That's €1,54...not a bad deal.
I wonder if this has to do with Poland being a low wage country (in comparison to Western Europe).

7.19 out of 35.79 is still 20%, regardless of absolute value.
Ah, here we go, it was a bundle deal. The game on its own was 50% off, but 80% in the bundle if you got all 4.

Ah! Now THAT sounds different.
