Very hyped about this but unless its going to be similar to Dawn of War 1 I'm going to pass it. Dawn of War 2 while a good RTT was dull for me as an RTS player.

It looks promising granted that's what teasers like this do. I loved the first Dawn of War but haven't gotten that far into the second. I'm hoping it resembles the first more than the second.

Thanks for that! It does look very good. But I think I'll wait for a bit before I get that one. There's still plenty of life left in the earlier Total Wars yet.

I am NOT giving Relic any of my money before I know that they'll stop the buff and nerf madness they've been doing for years with their games.

I am just waiting for the factions I care about:

High, Dark, and Wood Elves.

Ogre Kingdoms.

And Daemons of Chaos (perticularly Khorne inspired Daemons)

Those are the priorities to me the others fall into categories from mabye (Tomb Kings, Chaos Dwarves and other Human factions like Kislev) to I don't give a fuck (Skaven, Beastmen, and Lizardmen)

How is it different with the first Dawn of War that only gave us 4 starting races?

I wanted to play as tyranids and imperial guard at the start aswell :P

So I finished DoW2 and started Chaos Rising... and was struck with a lovely bug where I was considered T3H EV1L for succeeding at a secondary objective... and then that secondary objective having done nothing to stop friendlies from being bombarded. Of course, in true DoW2 fashion of not being allowed to save like a normal game, I didn't find this out until at the end of the 40m+ mission, and would have had to redo the entire gruelingly intense difficult thing to have another shot at not being T3H EV1L.

In summary, after what they did to DoW2, I think I'll probably pass on 3 until it comes out on in a Humble Bundle a few years down the line.

I hope it's like a classic RTS
