Easy answer - you can shoot someone in those, no one gets hurt, and you don't have to experience the downside of getting to scream, "Fuck you all, it was totally worth it!" in between idly wondering if your orange jumpsuit will make you look poorly as you do your perp walk on CNN.
I'm sorry you're having to deal with some selfish, inconsiderate, immature, manipulative parasite.
Also, thank you for the laugh at that explanation. It's perfect. (As is your description of the roommate, but I'm trying to let that irritation die down again now.)

Bulletstorm is great, if you don't mind GFWL. Kicking people into walls made of spikes is so satisfying :-)
I ended up blasting the Megadeth Pandora station (which nicely includes Motorhead, Sabbath, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, and many other bands I approve of while in this sort of mood) and playing Borderlands, since that was an FPS I already had installed.

On a somewhat different note, the first Borderlands game is actually proving harder for me to get used to after playing (some of) Borderlands 2; the controls/play aren't very different, but it's different enough that I have to take it in small bits. As much as I love the art and the humor, there are only so many "look at the swarm of 15 skags that are killing you when they weren't there two seconds ago!" moments that I can handle before getting frustrated. B2 has some of that, too, but it definitely improved the "enemies appearing out of nowhere behind you immediately after you turn around from looking for them" stuff.

or do I have that wrong? ;)
;-)

I am the exact opposite with Borderlands 1 and 2. The controls are pretty much the same, there is just... something slightly different that I can't explain. I always found B2 to be a bit harder.

Good evening! I hope everything is ok with everyone.
Finally it is raining here. It helps to quell the heat.

Yes, it's been pretty active today. Great for company, but not so much if you're trying to play catch-up, though.
How was your day?

It was cool, thanks !!

Have it for the 360, but the frigging thing keeps overheating.

The mini-map indicators for Borderlands 1 were full of shit at times, to put it bluntly. Remembering all the "find the 4 parts for weapon whatever" missions where the mini-map would say that pieces were in places that they weren't. Ended up using it as nothing more than a general marker.
Also, you're quite welcome. Can't do much, but if I can make someone laugh even when they kinda want to strangle someone, I'll take it. =)

EDIT: This seems correct. Only the store part was closed. I found a old news (is this a thing? :-P) about it.

Aside from that, there's definite overall lag loading the page, but that's typical.

Everything else is bad enough, but no game access at all? Definitely the worst.
