I have the disc version of "Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine", a very poor Tomb Raider clone with awful invisible barriers, perhaps its one to stay buried for a future archeologist?

No this is not completely correct. There is no original version of Secret of Monkey Island, since in the SE version released today is only the english language CD version included in addition to the remake. That means the original with the old interface, the stump joke and the additional languages is missing.

Additional languages certainly are not needed to make it into this list. But could you clarify/show what you mean by "stump joke" and old interface?

The Special Edition doesn't include the original Secret of Monkey Island. The "classic" mode is similar, but there is some cut content (the stump joke) and the interface was simplified compared to the original game.this.

Excellent! Thank you for adding all the Star Wars games to the list! :-) I cross my fingers that one day we'll have them all on GOG!

Could you also add Star Wars: Episode I: The Gungan Frontier to the list? It was aimed more towards children, but it was a fun Sim Earth like game set in the Star Wars universe. :-)
