There seems to be no existing thread related to this topic or similar one.

It may happen that gog.com carries game(s) from a company / developer that upsets you so much that it makes you feel less inclined to spend money on GoG.com. It is a pefectly valid customer reaction, in my opinion. It happens to me, anyway.

So I thought maybe there should be a place in the forum where GoG customers can express their thoughts regarding this topic. This can also help GoG staff make better business, should there be Companies/Developers so foul as to be hurting GoG sales, overall.

And how is this going to go without it just becoming another political "go woke, go broke" thread that will be closed in 2 hours?

There is indeed one for me: CD Projekt Red.

Both because of their push in favour of single-player DRM, and their very aggressive advertisement on GOG.
and here we go
Let me get this straight: You mean to say that if one person, or several persons, has/have a grudge against a developer or publisher, GOG should exclude these developers’/publishers’ games from the store? Are you OK?
If you don't want to support a dev for whatever reason... feel free? I'm not sure why you think there's a need for a dedicated thread, in any case "boycotting" GOG as a whole because of that seems very obsessive to me, it's not healthy
Aspyr Interactive comes to mind.

Putting it in the terms you used (ignoring the jab):

that (those) person(s) has/have the right to voice their grudge, as you put it, and elaborate on it as little/much as they please.

GOG has the right to do whatever they please with that information: ignore it, take action on it , even not reading any of it.

Likewise, other GOG customers can ignore it completely, or maybe it becomes useful information for them as, sometimes, helpless customers.

Finally, this forum seems as good place as any other for this kind of Costumer-to-Customer-to-Storefront interaction.
Personally, Ackk Studios (YII2K), low budget RPG Maker games, and all the 'campy' games that have no place here (e.g., Plumbers Don't Wear Ties).

Not* that all RPG Maker games are bad, but many of them are very, very low quality.

EDIT: Not*, not that.

There is no singular dev or game that would make me spend less on GOG.

There are certain GOG "preoccupations" (both game genres and alignment with large corporations) and a general lack of attracting (and keeping) "strong" games -- indie, AA, and AAA -- that make me less excited about GOG sales. But if you want DRM-free, IMO this is your best bet.

Now, ATM my biggest issue with the library GOG has...

... is that there are MANY games "lost" in the virtual stacks.

What do I mean?

There are MANY games on GOG that seemingly NEVER go on sale. They sit at full price (forgotten?) and NEVER (that I have seen) cycle into sales. Instead we get sales upon sales upon sales with generally the same titles.

Banner Saga? Kingdom Under Fire? Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard? The list goes on...

That is my biggest problem with GOG ATM.

Or maybe I just haven't caught them on sale...? ;)

Sorry, man, for my possibly offensive post. Not a good day today for me. It’s just that I don’t like it when people go to a bar and drink stuff, and then (after some years) they feel they own the bar! They even tell the barman what to sell or not! This will never happen. Whether we like it or not, we are only customers here.
if certain genres are gifted a higher store share, for w.e reason, i am bound to reconsider my GoG stance.....

Not to mention the fact that I already have a no purchase store until at least i considered 300 euro's worth of games on the GoG store, which i of course don't purchase...

I think i'm at 7 euro 50 atm....
The way the title/OP is phrased is a bit confusing to me. Do you mean devs whose games we're likely to not want to buy at all, devs whose games we're likely to not want to buy on GOG in particular, or devs whom we hate so much that their very presence would make us boycott GOG as a whole?

Nope!
Any company that uses AGILE as their primary development methodology. It's the timesharing scam of devops.

Which reminds me, it's time to go see what impossible task the hiring managers at GOG are asking for this time.

• Senior Product Engineer (Frontend): This is just a webdev with a fancy title.
• Product Engineering Team Lead: An engineer's worst nightmare, the Middle Manager.
• Open Application to GOG’s Marketing Team: Shape the Future of Gaming Preservation: This isn't even a job title. Also, "Kick ass" isn't a professional statement.
• Video Content Specialist - Community Focused: Do you know how to drag a video timeline?
• Data Science & Analytics Manager: Did you think accounting was too fast paced, but flunked out of law school? Then this bureaucratic hell might be for you.
• Publishing Technical Manager (Game Releases): Remember that guy who leaked a chart of upcoming releases in a screenshot on one of the game pages? Don't be that guy.
• Senior Tax Specialist: This one is written in some kind of lunar cipher. Can you navigate the ever changing treacherous rapids that is the Polish and European Tax systems?

Oh, and there's a few companies that have demonstrated an active malice towards people, so I don't like them either.
