Maybe it's content thing

An enormous island map to fight your way across
Combat based on skill and stats
Addictive, evolving training minigames to power up your character
Pets to tame and train… if you can learn how
Mercenaries to hire for help, who may become more
Tons of upgrades, including a home to build
Powerful armor, weapons, and relics to earn
A museum to invest in and fill with your adventures
Go fishing, improve your training grounds, and more
A light-hearted story filled with surprises

or they regret their decision, but devs are insulted.

wowwwwwwwwwwwww this a very very very very funny game..... so excited i started stuttttering
if the special effects arent too heavy, if there are no lightning screens ( thunderlightning) , no paralax moving backgrounds ( like Superfrog has )it might be something i might like....

Yes there is lots of video, seems the game is ready or finished.... ( if so i wonder why it takes so long to arrive here? adding Steam DRM and removing all DRM for a GOG version cant take that long ?:D)

BUT judging by the style of the game, it is propbably 'developed' ( written) in Unity ?

It's a bit of a timed exclusive on kartridge, for like a month, I guess.
Looks like a flash game.

Many non flash games look like flash games - nothing new here. For me, Slay the Spire and other card games look like flash games, so... oh, well.

All the other games in this series ARE flash games.

Will it be priced like a cheap flash game? o.O

Dude, I get it: you really like this game. But c'mon...seriously? You think using the "well...there's a lot of crappy games out there" argument somehow "defends" this one? You're really not helping S&S case here, you know? LOL

You like it? Cool. Nothing wrong with that. But it does look like a (kinda crappy) Flash/Mobile game. You can't deny that. So just accept the criticism and move on. You're going to enjoy it anyway, amirite? So what do you care?

Also...Slay the Spire? Seriously? That's one of the best SP card games out there. IDK if it's fair to compare it with something like S&S atm. And "other card games"? You mean something like Magic: The Gathering? You think those are worse than this game? Okaaay...
I never really said looking like a flash game was bad or good.

Like others have said, Slay the Spire also looks like a flash game but is AMAZING.

I also played a ton of games on Kongregate and Miniclips. Sonny something zombie rpg was pretty sweet.
And some game where you are a bull trying to get really far. Those games look good, even as flash games.
This one does not look good. TO ME. It's the style that I'm not that into. Purely visual btw, not about gameplay. And no I probably won't give it a chance.

Just in case people are wondering, nowhere in that paragraph did I say the game was bad. Knowing GOG ppl, some of y'all gonna get up in arms about random internet strangers slightly dissing some game you like.

Let's not get into all that here though. Enjoy the game.

Dude, I get it: you really don't like this game, amirite? So why do you care that is released here and come and pick on people who like it? You see it's not your kind and move on.

Card games are not my kind, so I see them all the same. Same goes for adventure games, platformers and others. But I never go in the thread of a released game that I'm not interested in, to complain, to say things like: "Meh, this game sucks, I don't like it! Why is it here?". Good for people that like those games.
