I don't know if he really believes the things he says or not, but that's beside the point. He's definitely not dumb and I think he knows exactly what kind of reactions these posts will get (I mean, maybe the very first time he didn't, but as you yourself noticed he's been doing this for a while) and yet he's not stopping. Why? Because somehow this amuses him.

But hey, let's assume I got it all wrong and you're right. There are still only two options here:

1) Downrate the post, then reply and contribute to keep this idiocy visible. We already know this is not doing any good.

2) Downrate the thread, don't reply and watch it slip quietly into oblivion.

All of that "dirty SJW stuff" aside... Are you serious? Because even though I'm emphatically not an MP guy (especially with regards to online MP), not being able to choose what faction to play is absolutely ridiculous. I can't think of any classic RTS game where you couldn't do that.

And with respect to people kicking you out for not wanting to play by their ridiculous rules...isn't this a server specific thing? Couldn't you just find another server or game to join?

Well, sorry for the foul temper and the short fuse. But this was hilarious, simply something else! You either get for playable faction whatever the ROOM'S HOST wants, or you get the hell kicked out. You cannot decide alliance either, as in the old days you could, but that is simply irrelevant, compared to the above; which renders entire gameplay features and elements completely inaccessible, thusly, since an entire certain faction is present in the expansion only.

I tried to create a game room myself but for some reason, almost no one would join. As in all MP games, you usually join a good, big, full game, not create a nothing game nowhere no one knows and no one gets to join! One or two people joined ultimately, but the game wouldn't run for me. I got the notification other player was in game, while i was stuck indefinitely in the server's client window. I couldn't play altogether by creating my own room and whatever other players' room i join, EVERYONE forbade me from using the factions i knew and played since 2003. I don't like the Allies, dammit, i don't know how or want to learn to play them just for that and i HATE americans and germans (the game factions i refer to, obviously). The game room master would always change forcibly my faction and when i changed it back to the one i wanted, i always got kicked... This is no MP, this is cyber-fascism, god damn. Too much for all this work to give back the MP feature of a good old game; only to have faqturds remove forcibly OTHER features of that game for others, much like game content itself (factions).

Play somewhere else then.
