GOG is handing out free Joy™ to everyone today it seems.

Oh, gosh. I just started looking at it more. This is horrible.
For starters, I hate the fact that the whole list thing is gone. Like, if I ever wanted to recall a conversation I had previously or check a key donated recently, I could simply look at the list of users and see a chronological list of who I've messaged with. Now if I forget something, I have to look up the person's name manually every single time I go into chat. If I see a notification, I'm going to have to be careful not to open the chat tab accidentally and make sure I reply to ALL notifications I get at once since, as soon as I turn away from the page, everything's gone.
I think having only avatars on the left is a bad idea since those can change, but that's a minor gripe.
I suppose most of this can be solved by me being really, really careful, but it's still a pain and is gonna make giveaway work more difficult (which, again, is a niche gripe, but I can see ways in which it can mess up other people).
And by the way, God help us if the notifications ever go down again. Because then we'll never see anything. Ever. You'd have to specifically look up a person and see if they messaged you.
Edit: Oh, and I suspect this'll make scamming somewhat easier as well. People will be less vigilant what with just the avatar on the side.

I mean, I hate to join the people unironically harping on about "GALAXY IS THE END! WE SHALL ALL BECOME GALAXY! IT SHALL BE FORCED ON EVERYONE!" but this really does feel like the staff was trying to fix something that wasn't broken for the sake of looking more like Galaxy.

How come clicking the reply notification only takes me to the very last reply when there are more than one within the same thread?

Surely, it would make a lot more sense to take me to the first one and then allow me to skip forward one by one.

Alright, I'll concede that much and appreciate having it pointed out to me, but that still begs two questions:
1. Who's gonna figure that out without it getting pointed out to 'em?
2. Why make this change to begin with?

On PC, it looks nice. I don't know about functionality since I haven't use it yet

But on Android, oh god. Do you guys just forgot people also can access your website, especially forum and chat, on android phone???

The forum requires a bit hard work with manual zoom and scroll. Uncomfortable, but do-able

the old chat requires landscape orientation. And everytime I scroll, it will focus on textbox and display onscreen keyboard. Very uncomfortable, but still usable

This new chat? it's basically unusable on my android phone. I can't even choose a friend to chat, let alone display chat history.

Seriously guys..... sigh

Same problem here with me iphone on iOS3.3. Tapping on friends and chat history for days does nuttin' :( (using chrome and safari)

I'm on tablet while choosing people in chat isn't working I'm able to choose them from friends icon. Is that not working on mobile?

Does this update provide notification for game updates / patches? I don't see it mentioned but it's the one I'm really hoping for.

Today I noticed forum notifications to appear, which is great! Thank you for your work!

Tapping doesn't seem to work, but if you type their name and hit enter in the search box thing that works.
