FIX: THE WTICHER 3 :P
i read that middle east version of the game they going to have Gore reduced.
Since i Pre Ordered the game im worried. because i live in the region.
so i have some questions;

1) Do this apply Only to physical copies of the game Or also to Digital (Steam) versions?

2) Can i change the amount of Gore in the game? or its removed completely?

3) also do other things changed in the middle east version like nudity and such beside Gore?

4) if i live in the middle east is there a way to get the game (digital) without all of the above downgrades?

Thanks.

Most importantly i want to know how to be sure i am getting the "full untouched" version of the game (with full gore),
i got it with steam i live in Israel. if i cancel my pre order and order it with GoG will it help?

kingeliran: ...will it help?
First of all it would definitely help, if you made clear which game you are talking about.

I assume it's "The Witcher 3", but a confirmation would be nice.

;o)

Yup.
It would probably help. Steam is known here in Germany for providing censored versions. Or you can go around it with proxies and such things. Probably easier to buy it here on gog.

how can i be sure that buying from GOG does not have the same censored version as steam might have?

You can't. You'd have to ask CDPR or gog for a definitive answer.

It is just past experience, the only thing you can be sure of is that you will get the censored version from steam

You can't, they're just trying to convince you not to buy from Steam. Some personal agenda probably. There is very likely going to be censoring from both companies.
There is a SHADY day 1 patch. Maybe that will restore gore??

I am not joking. I read somewhere this game will have an unknown day 1 patch. Don't know what it is exactly about.

short answer: because of your government rules. they can't do anything about it. the same goes for Australia, Germany and probably other countries.

Where do you get that knowledge from? Assuming there's only one censored version sold in all of the "Middle East", how do you know the Israeli government is to blame for it? And is your government to blame for a generalized regional pricing, too? Those matters aren't always as short and simple as you make them out to be.
