darthspudius: He doesn't chase you everywhere. He does eventually give up. There isn't exactly much to be overrated about. The character did its job perfectly. Enough said really.

Elmofongo: I know he does not chases you all the time. But I just now that if they ever remake RE3 they will definately emphasize him chasing you all the time. (Probably he moves about the map in real time)
Oh Hell, he was scary enough before hand haha.
As much as I liked the RE games, I hated the movies.

Director Paul W Anderson just had to cast his untalented wife Milla Jovovich as the leading role and make the movie worse.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Paul W Anderson movies.

Personally I liked the first 2 movies best because they were the most "faithful" to Resident Evil (and made at the sametime when RE was still "Survival Horror/Pre-RE4")

I'm not convinced she was the problem ( imho, it's more about bad writing, and failing to portray the essence of the older RE games ), but either way, the first one was OK in its own way, but after that each new RE movie turned out more ridiculous than the previous one.

The first two were pretty much the best. They kept semi-cannon. The later films, yep, indeed turned into "weird mutant freaks from RE4+", and almost pretty much forgot about the Zombies completely as a fear factor. They became almost a backdrop.
I remeber playing a not so legit version when I was younger and not getting very impressed. Maybe this time I can redeem myself! As for the movies, they never made me a fan. Maybe the first 2. The last were good to watch if you turned off your brain first (like most of Bay'movies).
