Yo skanky bitches!

Seems like Steam's adult content policy is clarifying:

Bought it on a whim, on the developer's website because hey, for 10$ I got both Steam and DRM-free uncensored version.

Unexpectedly, I have quite a good time with that game. "Completed" (wink, wink) Jessie and Aiko's paths, I must say that it's a real good point that it's an american eroge, because frankly, the voices are just excellent. I can't stand the high-pitched japanese voices in japanese games, so this time, it didn't feel like I was playing against 13 yo kids...

Of course, this kind of game has little to no "real" value. You could even say it's offensive for some of the blatant racial stereotypes in that game. But, still I enjoy it, because I can still tell the difference between real life and a videogame ^_^
Watching Jesse Cox playing this on YT, I was really not expecting the solid voice acting, nor the funny, tongue in cheek writing style. The art is good too.

I'd buy it if it came here.
Hi guys! I just got back from simming sex with underage pigeons. What did I miss?
OMG, the TotalBiscuit Let's Play is the best thing ever. I'm sold, GOG should totally get it.
I feel like I should say something since I created the wishlist entry...

Err...

Umm...

Yeah...
I would like to see GOG to carry this game, in its full uncensored version.

From what I've heard, it's actually really fun. The game knows what it wants to be, and doesn't shy away from it - but it also doesn't give up on the core game mechanics. That, at least IMO, only makes it better.

It's a bit like Senran Kagura. The Senran Kagura games all have solid gameplay even without the massive fanservice. That's what makes them good games. The fact that they manage to do so while remaining dedicated to the fanservice (without compromising the game or anything else) is what makes them *great*.

HuniePop seems to have that quality as well (except using porn instead of fanservice). That's why it's on my "to-buy" list. GOG haven't shied away from nudity before (Witcher; Leisure Suit Larry, especially Magna Cum Laude), and while I realize it's probably taking it a step further to have a game with outright porn, I don't think a legitimately good game should be excluded just for that reason.

Because of that mention I just watched a fair portion of it, and it was quite amusing. I love that he does these playthroughs with his wife as it is almost always quite entertaining in their silliness.

Regarding the game, it does seem like some ridiculous but fun themed "dating" game. Nope, totally not in it for the BEWBS! ... Nope ... Not a chance. =P
Wasn't this confirmed to release on Valentine's day?

Release here?
I know there's an update coming on the 14th...

I have to say this game is enjoyable. The more I played the harder it got.

The difficulty increased as well! :P

You don't say. ;)
I went ahead and asked on the Kickstarter comments if they would bring the uncensored version to GOG. As ever, I want culture to be emancipated from censorship, DRM, and social stigma - so HuniePop gets my support. Here's hoping the game comes to GOG.
According to Micheal Brand in the comments section of the HuniePop Kickstarter, the developer reached out to GOG and is waiting for a reply. Here's hoping that things work out. :)
That would be a good thing if HuniePop was released here with the full uncensored version.

I must say that the Valentine's day update was worth the wait, even when like me you already have completed the game! :)

The tweet he refers to is from one month ago... I suspect that means it wasn't accepted.

On the other hand, the game wasn't as well known (and by extension, requested) back then, so maybe a re-evaluation would change things?
