SexyWayne: My system is a AMD FX 4170 @ 4.2ghz, 8gb ram and a Radeon HD7770 1gb ghz edition and it runs Dying Light perfectly fine on medium settings, I haven't looked to see what type of frames per sec it's running at but it's perfectly playable, your cpu and my cpu are about the same performance wise... hope this helps.

Random_Coffee: Thanks, that helps a lot :) I heard that optimization was pretty bad on AMD graphics cards, so it's good to see that your card is playing the game well. I'm no feinschmecker on framerate, as long as it's playable, I approve :P

How is the framerate in the most demanding areas by the way? Still nice and playable?
If you watch the port report vid on Total Biscuit's YouTube channel he shows a few places where the game gets demanding, I tried those areas and had a few framerate stutters but it seemed to sort itself out pretty quickly... one thing I have noticed with the game though is that even with all the detail levels turned down it is still a good looking game

l0rdtr3k: My PC specs:
Windows 98
Pentium 2 133mhz
256mb of ram
Voodoo 3 16mb
resolution 600X400

Can it run Dying Light?
If you tried to run that game the little red LED on your motherboard would be... *sunglasses* a dying light.

F4LL0UT: No, but you can look at some downscaled screenshots.

Also 133mhz and 256 MB RAM is one ridiculously weird combination.
I agree, I had 32MB RAM with this processor and it was high-spec at the time.

Your beast is ready for the witcher 3...

And the computer my brother got in 1997 came with a 200 Mhz K6 CPU (which was high-end at the time) and still only had 16 MB RAM (although we upgraded it to 32 MB pretty soon).

Yeah, I heard the most recent delay was caused by the team's last minute decision to add Glide support.

Better wait for a sale to get it, it's unoptimized and you can get a DMCA complaint if you mod it, yes, mods are considered "cheating"...

i3 530 @ 2.93
6 gig RAM
AMD HD 5450

Runs fine for me, but I get terrible motion sickness from it, I got a mod (chromatic aberration Begone mod) that's supposed to help, Ill try that tomorrow. I like what I played so far, the game looks terrific.

I have no problem with him having 256 meg of ram. An Asus P3B-F could support 1024 meg.
But I had no idea people could underclock their Pentium 2 's to that extent, much less why.
Although I do remember one bloke on BleedinEdge who went to great lengths to slow his CPU's down,
including replacing most of the capacitors on his motherboard.
I admired his achievements, but it wasn't something I wanted to do.
Maybe this sort of thing was more widespread than I thought.

So far I can't run it on an AMD Radeon R9 270x with an AMD FX 8350 CPU. It seems to have an issue with Linux and AMD... At least that is what I've seen and heard.
(yes, I like AMD :D)

MorningStar33: It seems that the game is terribly optimized.
Which seems to be the trend for recent multiplatform titles on the PC, unfortunately.

Unfortunately that mod only removes some of the more intense chromatic aberration from certain cutscenes and being hit by enemies - it doesn't remove the effect from normal gameplay :(

So I've read, but its my only recourse, after that, if it doesn't work, I'm kinda screwed.

The fact that these mods are (in part) fixing this game and the devs are trying to get them removed, means that I will probably never buy another Techland game ever again. I could understand if it was just an isolated case, but it is quite a common occurrence with people experiencing extreme MS with this game, which is a shame, cos its a darn good game.

BTW, were there Pentium 2s with 133MHz? I got that processor from 1st generation of Pentiums. I thought Pentium 2s began at 233MHz
