You can filter the games by their age (oldest to newest), if you set the order to "Sort by: oldest first".

Pre-2000 games, sort by: 'date added' to catalog:
https://www.gog.com/games?page=1＆sort=date＆release=p2000

Pre-2000 and 2000-2004, sort by: 'bestselling (all time)':
https://www.gog.com/games?page=1＆sort=bestselling＆release=p2000,2000_2004

more filters (add to url separating with comma):
2005_2009
2010_2014
a2015
