DeMignon: GOG's shopping cart simply isn't made to be persistent. Don't expect it to last for more than a few hours.
Very inconvenient, don't think I know of an online store that deletes my cart.
221bBS: Anyone else experiencing anything similar?
WinterSnowfall: Since they upgraded the interface, I noticed the shopping cart is no longer tab-safe.
If I add something to it in another tab then refresh the current tab, it'll be clueless and empty. This worked without issues before the UI re-vamping.
Not tab browsing safe, I... I... I... I don't think I'm able to shop without tabbing.... lol
Themken: Do it like this: Put all titles you are interested in on your wishlist then from that, probably much shorter selection, you move the items you want to purchase into your shopping cart. This way the time out does not have errh time to hit you.
Looks like this is the only way to shop for the time beings.
You know, the first time I bought something on this sale, I swore I added a few items to my cart that I didn't get when I paid for my stuff. I just assumed I didn't really add it to the cart. But now....
