Typical, he showed no emotion over the deaths of the unemployed, disabled or low income workers, but he loses one argument & he`s all teary eyed?

P.S. He quit his job, hope to hell he doesn`t get paid off...
Millennial Woes is live streaming now.

Well, fingers crossed I guess! Unfortunately it’s in the EU’s best interest to make sure the UK goes down as an example of what happens to countries that try to leave. If we end up sipping champagne from the bellybuttons of supermodels in a few years, the other countries are going to want out too.

Typical sociopathic behaviour. He may not get paid off cuz he failed his masters. LOL he may even get punished. Dead pigs look out! X-D

Garrison72: Call me crazy but if the majority of Brits voted for this, there had to be good reasons.
Of course! Separation and partitioning will definitely make them stronger!
Just a little observation, but, yes, there may be a few ripples from the UK leaving the EU. On the other hand, not every European country is in the EU, Switzerland, for example, yet it doesn't preclude friendly relations.

I think part of the problem -- mind you, I was too young at the time -- is that the early 70s referendum was really to do with becoming part of a common market (EEC), whereas the whole thing has become increasingly politicised over the years, and gradually changed from the original purpose.

Dalthnock: Indeed, doll face.
You've never called me doll face, ever?

morolf: No idea, I don't have any hard data. Though my impression is, immigration did play a significant part (and many media outlets seem to favour that interpretation). I suppose Merkel's insane behaviour last year and her push for forcing refugee quotas on EU countries wasn't helpful. Can't tell whether this was decisive, but it definitely is a factor.
avatar
Dalthnock: Well it was most certainly a factor. And it *might* have given Leave the edge, I am conceding that.

But I'm pretty sure it would've been close, either way.

Of course the media will interview random people until they find a Leave being a xenophobe - I will hound the first person that makes a xenomorph joke! You will pay dearly! - and then replay that over & over.

Because that's the narrative they were going for, reality be damned!

Asbeau: We can still play but the referee can't tell us what to do anymore :P

Dalthnock: Beautiful. Exquisite. Marvellous!
Damn xenomorphs.

There is NO WAY UK has a good future if separated from EU. Nothing is final yet until the government decides. The people's vote is just an illusion.

Trying to get of of EU is like a 5 year old kid trying to get out 100 foot deep mudhole that is slippery smooth with no rough edges.

If UK persists in getting out, EU will make sure that UK has hell to pay economically.

Plus UK, cannot do anything about millions of migrant workers that already came into UK under EU laws and started working there.
Are they going to mine The Chunnel now?

It will be like "Escape From New York"! :D
Congrats, Brits! Best wishes for a better future! Here's to you! *raises glass* :)

Garrison72: I don't see enough silver lining posts in this thread. Maybe we need to discuss the pros as well as the cons.
