It's simply incredible! Many people on Steam are going to piss off due to a growing presence of DRM like Denuvo.

So, they try to "wake up" other users about this issue (which probably will ruin videogaming).

The replies are... Very dishearthening, at least: the majority don't care about the ethical problems behind DRM. But this is quite predictable: there is a lot of ignorance about it.

The thing that amazed me, however, was a little group of users. Theese guys have replied that GOG itself is a sort of pirated games store...

What the Hell is going on in those minds!?

Sorry for this outburst...

What kind of group would that be?

I said "group" meaning some users in different threads, they act on their own but basically say the same thing.

Pardon me, for my Potato English.

Nah, your English is absolutely fine. It's just that for a minute I thought that you're actually talking about some organised group that propagates the idea that GOG is an illegal website
Well, it's not an organised group but I find disturbing seeing there is even only one person thinking such foolishness!
I've seen a lot of people posts on Steam and around the web that GOG is all pirates.

At first it bothered me and then I realized that there is NOTHING I can do about it. :P

Obviously it's a ludicrous idea. I don't even own a parrot!

Isn't this thread a repeat?

Most people are disturbingly stupid...and unfortunately that's not limited to gaming.
The irony is so strong with this one.First the foolish publishers load their buggy mess with all the DRM goodies it can get and drop it exclusively on Steam. And then when the game flops and the negative reviews start showering them, they say "Aahh dang it.We aren't making any green off of this.Let's make it DRM-free and put in on GOG"..... The piracy here is through the roof btw(bad sarcasm) ;).Cheers

The most delicious irony would be if those same people were to turn out to be G2A users. Which would not surprise me in the slightest.

Yes and we've got discussions running in both of them.

This is why I and others have been trying to point folks to a single thread so things aren't split between 2 or more.

Oh well....
I can confirm this. Just few weeks ago on one gaming forum two people were claiming GOG is selling pirated copies of games and said it was a warez site that is selling previously "free" abandonware games.

It is quite possible these are actually the same few people posting nonsense on various sites.
Okay this is interesting.

It sounds like this guy is confused because he can't use GOG to pirate. :P
