I don't know about BG3, but here are some "d&d" games that look as bad as New World. I mean what is it going to take for investors to open up communication channels? They are being gatekept into these bad looking games (and I'm not describing it this time. If you want to see a description go to Diablo subforum and see the posts about Diablo 4 in there which has a description)

I'll post the link to the Diablo 4 description by way of an example, as an opportunity to bump later when you guys inevitably ignore this and bump the 3 word game and other basic novelty threads that are meaningless.

I was hoping to create some discussion on this issue. These devs who keep driving investors money into the ground or being suboptimal with it, keep getting away with it. It's been happening for even longer with mmos. Why are investors so cut off from everyone? What's wrong with them and why are they so against being contacted? All the sites have phone numbers now to keep people out and track them better so they can be further impacted by their censorship techniques.

Seems like investors are not part of the same community anywhere, otherwise they would be interested in being taken advantage of. That whole ring of current day developers really have found out lying to everyone works really well for them.

How doesn't it make sense? Do you know the history of PC gaming and also what investors are?

I said I wouldn't explain because I gave an example of New world, which was explained before. Also PC gamers should be up to date by now on this. D4 is mentioned if someone desperately needs an example of a critique of a pc game being made.

Well... you are speaking to the only person who can save the Diablo 2 remaster.

Seems pretty obvious they're much looser in their licensing standards now, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The best D&D games are ones that don't pander to a mainstream audience and stick closer to the core of D&D, and thus won't be AAA titles.

I agree.
A major issue is WoTC.
D&D hasn't been good since Third Edition. Second is mostly okay. Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II use Second Edition rules. Baldur's Gate III should also use Second Edition or have a toggle for them.
