I know it's de rigeur to bash Bethesda and disparage their entries in the Fallout universe, but I love 'em. So yeah, I'm excited about this.

A prequel set before Fallout 1&2 ? Great, they will contradict (or disregards) the lore from the originals...again.

So what exactly will this game be?

When can we expect Fallout 69?

It will be DRM'ed and locked to Steam, not much to be excited about.

I liked Fallout 3 and New Vegas (I haven't tried 4), so I'm game with Bethesda making another Fallout game. Still, isn't about time they did another Elder Scrolls game, and not just rerelease Skyrim over and over again?

(It's been too long since I tried to play Fallout 1+2. I remember liking the setting but finding the gameplay to be slow as F***. I remember feeling like I got nowhere in my game sessions. I do intend to give them another chance, though.)

I didn't even noticed Fallout 5 and there is Fallout 76 coming. Life goes do fast.

lol, are u still going on about fallout 76?? get wid the times, gramps! It's fallout 89 enhanced edition that all the hype these days- I mean minutes.

I've heard a rumor that its going to be an mmo, but I have no idea how reliable it is. Not sure how I feel about that :P
Perhaps a properly well done mmo would be nice, but not at the expense of its phenomenal single player pedigree.
It won't be what I've been wishing for since F2 in any case : an even bigger and grander Fallout 2, likewise from an isometric perspective.

I'd be excited if Bethesda bring us Rage, Doom 3, Dishonored.. otherwise I'm not interested. And after what I've seen in F4 videos I'm not interested in Fallout countinuation at all..
