And this list made the grave mistake of not having any of the Capital Cities of World of Warcraft, especially Stormwind and Silvermoon.

Or heck Cities in other RPGs like Everquest's Qeynos and Morrowind's Vivec and Mournhold.
Yes, Stormwind, Ironforge and Darnassus especially deserve a mention.

If I had to a pick a favorite city, it would have to be Manaan from KoTOR. It's the most beautiful and majestic city I've ever encountered in a game.

Fallen London in Sunless sea is another worthy candidate, mostly because of how relieved you are most of the time you manage to reach the complete safety of its dock, compared to the horror of every single other place in the game.

And though it's not a town and not a city, from Icewind Dale II is also one of my favorite gaming locations, in no small part due to one of the most beautiful location themes I've ever heard in a game: [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW5r1QWMF9Q]Targos Town

I'd have to go with Novigrad, followed by Oxenfurt. Next to that I'd probably add Solitude and Markarth.
Citadel from Mass Effect.
Akron Ohio from NOLF 2.

Not on there, bullshit list. :D
In no particular order, my favorites are:

Bowerstone (Fable)
GTA IV's take on New York
Hong Kong in Sleeping Dogs
Los Santos (GTA V)
ME's Citadel
City 17 (HL2)
The Hub and New Reno (Fallout 1 & 2)
Santa Monica (VTM: Bloodlines)
Lost Heaven (Mafia)
L.A. (LA Noire) (There's just something about games that do period cities well.)

Honorable Mention: The mission hub from Dragonfall, but I enjoyed the comfiness of the area, with all the little shops and side areas. I would love to see it re-imagined with more resources and areas, like the arcade and nightclubs, but I'm happy with what was released.
How could I be so silly. Of course my favorite gaming city is Los Angeles 3 years from now! https://youtu.be/h4381Mf4Zv0?t=75

Wouldn't want to live in that city though, that is unless I was Wolverine.

At the moment I'm spending far too much time in Planeptune, Lowee, Lastation and Leanbox... though technically I guess they're nations?

Whatever...

Fuck all that, Nueva Barcelona from Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader isn't here, by far the most interesting city I've ever been to in any cRPG.

I'd also put Wyzima from Witcher 1 on my list (I know it's not as impressive as anything in 3, but it was still a great and very "witcher-y" place) and Arkham City from... well, Arkham City.

Breja: ... Arkham City from... well, Arkham City.
Oh yes definitely. One of the few games where I don't ever get tired of chasing 100% completion. Come to think of, it's the only game where I don't get tired chasing 100% completion. Apart from Arkham Asylum that is.
I'll throw in a vote for Sigil, from Planescape: Torment, as a personal favorite.
The Imperial City in Oblivion first came to mind.
The thread title makes it sound likes it's the best city to PC game in...

But on the actual topic... I loved swinging around New York as Spiderman in the Gamecube game, it was pretty awesome.

In fantasy games and RPGs I always find cities a bit disappointing... they never feel properly real as they are too small or too underpopulated or just lack loads of general amenities that you might expect them to have...
I can't think of any that particularly impressed me..
