GameRager: This is not up to them/their responsibility, as it doesn't affect your ability to start the game or harm you physically/etc. This is why reviews are your friend. ;)

The one you replied to offered good advice in a respectful manner....now play nice or GOG will have to sic the bears on ya. :p
Awww, don't be so hypersensitive. :-) He did not offer a single good advice. He acts like a weak apologist. I do play nice, but I am not sure about the opportunistic people of your kind. :-) Saying it's not up to developers to balance the game is cringeworthy to say at least. Oh, and take your threats elsewhere, as I am not intimidated by random anonymous users. :-)

I wasn't trying to be hypersensitive. I was merely replhying to a comment I thought was a tad unfair to another gogger, is all.

Also, they did offer good advice(i.e. the much used yet sometimes disliked "git gud"), imo.

P.S. The GOG bear line wasn't a threat...but a CERTAINTY. o.0

You are very much hypersensitive. No one asked you to play devil's advocate in the first place. :-) "They"? Why using plural. It was one guy, not a bunch of guys. I bet you like to think of yoursef as a bad-ass bear. You are giving yourself too much importance. :-)

You call it hypersensitive, I call it me being "austistic/OCD addled" to the point of having to defen random strangers comments online when I feel the need to. ;)

As to my use of "they"...it's an alternative to he/she, which I also use, to avoid stepping on toes by using improper gender pronouns.

Also, I tend to think of myself as more of a caribou, tyvm. :p

You can not defend anyone, since no one was under attack.
Basic lesson in English: 'they' is used as a pronoun for plural. 'They' as singular is an artificially forced social construct of some leftist loonies. In other words, well educated and sane people don't use it in a grammatically wrong context. :-)

You call them loonies for doing such, I call it creating a useful/good alternative(much better than having to use the hundreds of newly invented pronouns, imo).

Also grammar is fluid, and can change/be updated over time. ;)

Addition: By "defend" I mean their words which you took offense to, obviously. I never said or meant to imply you were attacking them directly(physically/etc).

Gender dysphoria is medical condition, not a gender. Labeling it a gender is an abuse of affected people.

I believe such myself and pity such people(though I don't deny them their right agt the same time to believe what they choose), but a bit of friendly warning: Venturing further into such talk might get mod attention/warnings as "hate speech"....just a bit of head's up.

In that case, pelase, refrain yourself from further derailing the thread. Unless you have malicious intent.

I will if you will(I mainly got to this point by explaining/clarifying further points in response to your replies).

Also a last bit of offtopic/aside: I didn't mean that last bit as/want to have such seen as malicious in intent. I was merely trying to offer a bit of friendly advice to keep a fellow gogger out of trouble.

fr33kSh0w2012: The snes version started off crappy but ended sweet!
It was 'ranged only' in everything, The hacking game was mandatory for the story, and there was little in the way of growth beyond the story. Unless you really loved the story, it was fairly weak. That's why i say the SNES was the inferior version.

The Genesis version take a WEEK of full time playing to beat. And fun nearly the whole time.

The thread derail began when your hero complex started to show off. It began the moment you created this mental image inside of your head, depicting the "attacked fellow goger" which you need to defend. No one was under attack, therefore you have got no one to defend.

idbeholdME: Crucible.

Wishmaster777: Crucible.
All of my characters can make it to 100+ -- many of them to 120+ (if not to the end) in Crucible on Aspirant with no attempts at optimization. You either had a rather terrible experience, or are using even more hyperbole than I'm prone to. Anyway, how about both of you take it elsewhere so the thread doesn't remain derailed?

MajicMan: Well, a lot of this is what you classify as an ARPG. If it is top-down/isometric then my would be:

Diablo II
The Witcher
Torchlight
Torchlight 2
Diablo and Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance tied.

If we are talking 3D
Monster Hunter series
The Witcher III Wild Hunt
Borderlands (the original stand alone)
Reckoning: Kingdoms of Amular
Dragon's Dogma

I will put the Zelda franchise in the Adventure category.
I love Borderlands. But I would place that more as a shooter with an RPG element.
Diablo III was the definition of mediocre for me.

My favorites are
Baldurs gate Dark Alliance
Champions of Norrath
Dungeon Siege III
LotR Return of the King

Didnt care for PoE that much.
Torchlight is too kiddy looking for my taste

Im thinking of getting Grim Dawn next for my co op nights.
