One of the most anticipated releases of this year is now available on GOG in its full glory – Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios. The time has come to gather your party, and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.

Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade is also available in our catalog. Remember that if you’ve purchased the game during its early access, you will get the Upgrade for free!

After more than 20 years you once again immerse yourself in one of the most iconic series of video games and embark on the grand RPG adventure that is here to redefine the genre, just like the original entry did all those years ago.

Prepare for the expansive and original story, a vast, detailed and diverse world, a grand, cinematic narrative, great character customization, evolved, turn-based combat based on the D&D 5e ruleset, and just so much more. Prepare for Baldur’s Gate 3!

In the third entry of this iconic series, mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a Mind Flayer parasite planted in your brain. You are turning into a monster, but as the corruption inside you grows, so does your power. That power may help you to survive, but there will be a price to pay, and more than any ability, the bonds of trust that you build within your party could be your greatest strength.

You’ll choose from a wide selection of D&D races and classes, or play as an origin character with a hand-crafted background. Adventure, loot, battle and romance as you journey through the Forgotten Realms and beyond. Play alone, and select your companions carefully, or as a party of up to four in multiplayer.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is truly a next generation RPG. Forged with the new Divinity 4.0 engine, it gives you unprecedented freedom to explore, experiment, and interact with a world that reacts to your choices. A grand, cinematic narrative brings you closer to your characters than ever before, as you venture through Larian’s biggest world yet.

The Forgotten Realms are as alive as they’ve never been, filled with detail and secrets to discover. Here, no adventure will ever be the same, and how you survive, and what mark you leave on the world, is up to you.

Of course, such a grand release is bound to completely overtake our gaming sessions. That’s why we’d like to invite you to join not one, not two, but seven Baldur’s Gate 3 streams on our Twitch Channel! Some of them will include a multiplayer adventure, here’s a schedule:

Thursday, August 3rd, 8 PM UTC, NoodleBeefNoodle
Friday, August 4th, 7 PM UTC, Multiplayer: KaurTube and Marc
Saturday, August 5th, 1 AM UTC, LovelustGames
Saturday, August 4th, 12 PM UTC, Multiplayer: Inanda and her son RockAndRollNerd

Mori_Yuki: What will we receive as compensation for the extra waiting time incurred on us, thanks to your inability to prepare the files ahead of time so that they are ready and available at the exact time this game was announced to be released...?

better33: Chill, it's a couple hours ffs
This was meant to be a sarcastic comment. One can't buy anything for the extra time they ask us to accept. I and many others paid money for the game, it was announced to be released at a certain date and time, and yet they still managed to mess it up for non-Galaxy users. That's simply not acceptable.

If i learned anything from Divinity: OS2, i wouldn't bother with the download for a few months. It's probably a bug ridden mess at this point that'll receive annual updates on a daily basis, you better be careful not to miss any or end up downloading 120 gb all over again!
And good luck to you all in a year or two, downloading 300 gb when they release definitive edition and idiotically merge this version and the new one instead of providing a separate installation like they did with Divinity: OS2!

And i'm guessing they still persist with the useless launcher, and haven't removed it yet?

Siggi_Kees: I bought the early access of BG3 on 27.07,2023, in my account no deluxe and digital pack available.
Why?
The normal version as offline download is available.
Our system is taking a bit longer than usual to synchronize the files, you should receive your Deluxe Edition content shortly!
Man, bunch of spoiled babies on here. Just download the game and play it and enjoy it for what it's worth. No wonder we don't get regular releases because you all are ungrateful spoiled kids. Damn.

a) You do know that not being able to download the game was what I and some others took issue with?

b) Oh, I'm sorry, I guess Doom Eternal didn't get a gog release because I was bitching about something in the past. Oops... :P
We probably won't see a Half Life release here now due to my bitchng, crap.

Do GOG users get the Twitch drop or not?
Since there was no preload , the servers are gonna take a hammering for a while.

Breja: Damn. Look, I'm usually the first to complain about GOG for a variety of reasons, but come on. Sure, they should have prepared is better, it's a valid complaint, but I don't get why it's of such a life and death importance to play the game immediately that you need to be "compensated". It's not like you're waiting in line at a store wasting time. Read a book or play something else or do whatever.
Please read my reply to better33. It wasn't meant to be taken literally; it was sarcasm. It isn't about the waiting time, not that there is any other choice but to wait, but having paid good money for a product many of us should have received at a certain date and time. If it was a technical error I would be the last person to complain - it can happen; since this wasn't the case I can't find it in me to accept an apology. They knew the date and time of release yet they only managed to service client users... That's just not what I expect or must accept or even excuse because 'it's just a game' or 'not a matter of life-or-death.'
I will wait for an update that will give the option to play in real-time all-time. Turn-based isn`t Baldur`s Gate Game. The story looks good. Thank You! ^
Well thats my Friday planned out. Cant wait to play the full version

Fair enough, you're not wrong. It's just that I tend to get games literally years after the fact, I don't really understand the need to play something immediately, to get games at release and all that hype. But again, you're right, and it's indeed not acceptable for the non-Galaxy isers to be treated as an afterthought like that.

Did it every cross your mind that perhaps Larian was late getting the files to GOG so it delayed the entire process? GOG will never call them out on it if that was the case.
I still think y'all need to take a chill pill.
Now the question remains... where do i want to make a purchase
